Jon Jones is next at $18 million, followed by Khabib Nurmagomedov at $17 million. These are compiled recorded totals—not audited lifetime compensation: the underlying database says undisclosed bonuses and most pay-per-view earnings are missing.
Highest-paid UFC fighters by recorded career earnings
The table ranks fighters using UFCalendar’s recorded career earnings, rounded as displayed on its page. The amounts are compiled from commission disclosures and contemporaneous reporting, with the source selecting the best available report for each fight. “Fights with pay data” is the number of bouts represented in that database, not necessarily each fighter’s complete UFC bout history.

UFCalendar’s ranking table displays McGregor at $61 million; its FAQ gives a more precise compiled figure of about $60,523,000. The table above uses the FAQ figure rounded to one decimal place. See UFCalendar’s career earnings and methodology.
What “earnings” means in this ranking
The ranking is a database compilation of recorded fight-pay amounts, not a public, complete accounting of what each athlete received over a career. UFC contracts and compensation are not fully public, and the source says its career totals exclude undisclosed bonuses and most pay-per-view money. The actual all-in amounts may therefore be higher, but the available figures do not establish by how much.

- Recorded career total: compiled public purse disclosures and contemporaneous reports available to the database.
- Disclosed purse: a reported public payment figure, which may not capture side payments or compensation outside the disclosure.
- Estimated single-fight payday: a fight-specific figure that can include estimated pay-per-view points; it is not the same as a disclosed purse or a career total.
- Annual athlete income: may include endorsements and business proceeds as well as sport income, so it answers a different question.
Why other UFC earnings rankings look different
Different lists can rank the same fighters differently because they cover different sports, use different currencies, and count different kinds of payments. For example, Salary Sport’s all-MMA database combines disclosed state athletic commission purses with published bonus awards and converts non-pound source amounts using $1.33 and €1.17. Its displayed figures are in pounds: McGregor £8.9 million, Ronda Rousey £4.6 million, Nate Diaz and Alistair Overeem £3.3 million each, and Jones £3.2 million. McGregor’s biggest reported single-fight payday
UFCalendar lists McGregor’s UFC 264 fight against Dustin Poirier as the largest single-fight payday in its table, at $23 million. That figure includes estimated pay-per-view points where reported, so it is an estimate rather than a commission-disclosed purse. It should not be added to the career ranking as though it were a separate payment: it represents a reported payday for one event within a career-pay context. Why annual income lists are not career fight-pay rankings
A fighter’s income in one calendar year can include business transactions unrelated to fight purses. MMA Fighting reported on January 21, 2026, that Sportico’s 2025 top-100 highest-paid-athlete list included no MMA fighters. It also noted that McGregor’s 2021 Forbes-leading $180 million annual total included a reported $150 million sale of most of his Proper No. 12 whiskey stake.
