Those are a dated snapshot, not the price on October 7 or a current quote. Check the NSE HDFCBANK quote page for the latest exchange price and note its timestamp before comparing it with any target. Economic Times reported figures from HDFC Bank’s September 2026 business update. They indicate growth in advances and deposits, but they are business-update figures, not the bank’s full quarterly earnings release.

How much weight to give the technical levels
Economic Times technical coverage in October 2026 described resistance near ₹755–760 and support near ₹680–685. It also reported that HDFC Bank was down 28% in 2026, compared with a 14% fall in the Nifty 50, at the time of that article.
