Hindustan Copper Limited originally planned to accept applications from 14 October through 4 November 2024, then extended the final deadline to midnight on 21 November 2024. The notice advertised 19 executive vacancies across several disciplines and grades; it is not a current job opening.
What HCL advertised in 2024
Hindustan Copper Limited’s Advertisement No. Estt./1/2023/2024-25, dated 3 October 2024, listed 19 vacancies. The roles ranged from a senior Company Secretary post to deputy and assistant manager positions and management trainee posts. The pay scales below are those printed in the 2024 notice, not current pay guidance.

The notice contains the detailed vacancy and reservation breakdown. Check the relevant post in the HCL Career section and original notification rather than assuming a vacancy was available in every category.
Final application date and status
The original schedule set online applications to open at 11 a.m. on 14 October 2024 and close at midnight on 4 November. HCL first moved the closing date to 14 November, then issued Amendment 2 on 14 November extending it to midnight on 21 November 2024. That amended date was the final deadline. HCL’s Career page now lists newer recruitment notices, so the 2024 application call should be treated as historical.

There was no single qualification that covered all 19 vacancies. HCL specified separate educational and experience requirements for each discipline. For the DGM (Company Secretary) post, the notice required ICSI membership and three years’ experience at a company listed on NSE and/or BSE within the required experience. Deputy Manager roles required discipline-specific technical qualifications and experience; Assistant Manager (Official Language) and Management Trainee posts had their own criteria.
Use the eligibility section for the exact post in the official HCL notification to check essential qualifications, experience, age and reservation conditions. The summary above is not a substitute for those post-specific criteria.

How selection worked
HCL used different selection weightings by post. The notice assigned the following weights to interview and computer-based testing:

General, OBC and EWS applicants were required to pay a non-refundable processing fee of ₹500. Other candidates, including PwBD candidates, and internal candidates were exempt. HCL directed applicants to pay through its website payment gateway or by online NEFT transfer; use only the payment method and details in the official notice, not an unofficial payment link.

Applications were submitted online through HCL’s Career section. HCL’s instructions asked applicants to enter accurate qualification and contact information, upload a scanned photograph and signature, submit the form, and retain the computer-generated application and acknowledgement slip. The notice cautioned candidates to enter the exact percentage of marks without rounding.
Applicants for DGM (Company Secretary) and Deputy Manager (Survey, R&D or M&C) were also instructed to email a copy of the online application, acknowledgement and eligibility testimonials to [email protected] by the closing date. The notice listed role-dependent educational and experience evidence and category certificates among the documents that could be required. Candidates employed by a government or public-sector organization were asked for an employer NOC or to route materials through the proper channel, subject to the notice’s terms.
The instruction PDF’s search-result text described a recent color passport-size photograph measuring 3.5 × 4.5 cm under 50 KB and a black-ink signature scan under 50 KB. Because the PDF could not be opened to verify those details, treat them as unconfirmed here and consult the official document directly if checking precise upload specifications.
