No official 2026 PlayStation Black Friday start date has appeared in the official PlayStation results found as of October 8, 2026. That means the available evidence does not show that Sony’s sale has started. It does not rule out deals run independently by retailers.
What is known about the 2026 sale?
Sony has not announced a 2026 start date in the official PlayStation blog results found. The official PlayStation Black Friday page is the place Sony directed readers to for local updates in its previous announcement. Check it, along with the offer terms at any retailer you plan to use; Sony says promotions can vary by region and retailer.
The absence of an announcement in those results is a limited finding, not proof that no retailer has launched a PlayStation deal or that no announcement exists elsewhere.
When did PlayStation Black Friday offers start in previous years?
| Promotion | Published or offer dates | What the dates establish |
|---|---|---|
| 2025 | Sony published its announcement on November 18, 2025, and said offers would start November 21 for a limited time. | A past schedule only; it does not confirm a 2026 start date. |
| 2024 | Sony said its promotion ran November 22 through December 2, 2024. | Another historical example, not a 2026 schedule. |
These two past dates show that Sony’s promotions have begun in late November, but they are not enough to predict when the 2026 sale will start.
