When did Gregory Kissling become Breguet CEO?
Breguet announced Kissling’s appointment in September 2024, and it took effect on October 1, 2024. The company’s official announcement describes him as a microtechnology engineer with an MBA and a Master’s in Luxury Management.
The announcement says Kissling joined Swatch Group more than 20 years earlier at Omega, where he became vice president responsible for product development in 2022. Breguet is also part of Swatch Group; the company’s official history dates that relationship to 1999.
Who did Kissling replace?
Trade publication JCK reported that Kissling succeeded Lionel a Marca, who moved to operational and manufacturing roles within Swatch Group. That predecessor and role-change detail comes from JCK’s coverage.
How did the transition from Omega to Breguet work?
In a November 2025 Watchfid interview, Kissling recalled that the transition began after the official announcement in early September 2024. He said he remained operational with both Omega and Breguet through the end of that year. Breguet’s official history identifies Marc A. Hayek as the company’s President and says Kissling works closely with him. The appointment announcement uses the title “CEO” for Kissling, distinct from Hayek’s role as President.

Breguet’s history page and the 2025 Watchfid interview identify Kissling as Breguet CEO, but the available sources do not provide a dated confirmation of his status on October 4, 2026. The confirmed appointment took effect October 1, 2024.
