The notice concerned GPSC’s Drugs Inspector post in Gujarat Drugs Service, Class-II, under advertisement 55/2023-24. The reproduced notice labels the question range 001–300. Scroll reported the provisional-key release and deadline in its July 23, 2024 report; the notice itself is available as a reproduced PDF.
How to raise an objection to the provisional key
The reproduced notice set a specific process for suggestions on the 2024 provisional answer key. It applied to this recruitment notice and should not be assumed to describe the procedure for other or later GPSC exams.
- Eligibility: Only candidates who attended the preliminary test could submit an objection.
- Submission method: Suggestions had to be submitted physically, in the prescribed format; the notice did not specify an online objection process.
- Question and option references: Each suggestion had to use the question number and options in the master question paper. Different numbering or options would not be considered.
- One sheet per question: Candidates had to prepare a separate suggestion sheet for each question.
- Candidate records: An OMR answer-sheet copy had to accompany the submission. The proposed answer also had to match the response recorded on that candidate’s answer sheet; otherwise, the suggestion could be disregarded.
The notice says suggestions were to refer to the master question paper with the provisional key published on the website. The July 31, 2024 cut-off has expired, so these steps are historical rather than an available route to object now.

Provisional key versus final key
The provisional key was the version against which eligible candidates could submit suggestions by the stated deadline. The final key was reported later, in October 2024. Scroll reported its release on October 15, 2024, while Testbook’s explainer lists October 16, 2024. The available reporting therefore supports October 2024, but the exact day is inconsistent across those secondary sources; the primary final-key document was not directly verified.
