The prices below were U.S. starting prices reported ahead of the sale; higher-storage configurations cost more. The Pixel 9 Pro, Pro XL, Pixel 9 and Pixel 8a discounts were listed as direct price cuts. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold offer was reported as likely, but not yet fully listed or confirmed at the time.

The November 13, 2024 deal report listed the other Google Store offers below. Its Pixel Watch wording was “up to $100 off,” but the listed Bluetooth prices do not establish the same discount for every configuration.

When the promotion began—and what the date means
The deal was announced November 13, 2024, but its U.S. start date was Thursday, November 21. The contemporaneous report does not establish a definitive end date for every item, so it is not possible to verify from that source that all offers ran through Cyber Monday. These prices apply to the reported U.S. promotion, not automatically to other countries.

As of August 2026, the 2024 offer has expired. Google’s current Pixel 9 Pro page may show present-day product, trade-in, refurbished-device or promotional information; it does not establish that the November 2024 price is still available.
What the $150 Pixel 9 Pro discount did—and did not—include
The $849 figure was the advertised starting price after a $150 reduction from the $999 starting price. It was not a promise of $150 in trade-in value, nor a guaranteed all-in checkout total. Sales tax and any transaction-specific charges were separate. A qualifying trade-in could reduce what a buyer ultimately paid, but its value depended on the submitted phone, its condition and the offer in effect; Google could reassess it after inspection.

Google One benefits, Play Points discounts, retailer incentives and carrier offers were separate mechanisms. The contemporaneous report said the $849 price matched a Google One promotion, while a separate 30% Play Points offer did not match it. That does not establish universal eligibility or that the offers stacked. Store Credit is not the same as an immediate reduction in the price, and account-specific Play Points rewards are not a public discount available to everyone.
Carrier bill credits may lower a monthly bill but can require an installment plan, new line, port-in or continued service. Compare the total cost over the required term with the unlocked purchase price rather than comparing monthly figures alone. Retailers such as Amazon or Best Buy may have offered different incentives, but the deal report does not verify that their terms matched Google’s.

What the Pixel 9 Pro offered for $849
At launch, the Pixel 9 Pro was Google’s smaller premium Pro phone, with a 6.3-inch display, Tensor G4 processor, 16GB of RAM, a 42MP front camera and a 48MP 5x telephoto camera. Google’s launch information also promised seven years of operating-system updates, Pixel Drops and security updates, counted from the phone’s first U.S. Google Store availability date; U.S. shelf availability began September 4, 2024. The $150 reduction was about 15% off the $999 starting price. That made the direct discount meaningful for someone seeking an unlocked premium Pixel, but it did not turn a $849 phone into a budget purchase. A buyer with a recent flagship might not gain enough to justify upgrading, while a strong trade-in or carrier promotion could produce a better effective value for someone willing to accept its conditions.

Google described the Pro and Pro XL as sharing most specifications, with size and charging-related differences among the distinctions. The Pro’s 6.3-inch form is the sensible choice if portability and one-handed use matter more than the XL’s 6.8-inch display. The XL’s reported price was $100 higher. Choose the standard Pixel 9 if saving $200 matters more than the Pro telephoto camera, higher RAM and premium display features.
Buying through Google Store: trade-ins and financing
Google Store trade-in estimates depend on the eligible device and its condition, and the final value may change after inspection. The Pixel 9 Pro product page describes current purchase and trade-in support, but current terms should not be substituted for the exact terms of the 2024 sale.

Other ways to shop now
The historical $849 offer cannot be used now. For a present-day purchase, check the live Google Store for current pricing, availability and trade-in terms; do not infer a current price from an expired promotion. Google announced its U.S. Certified Refurbished Pixel program on October 28, 2024, with previous-generation phones at launch priced up to 40% below original retail prices.
