Google’s Pixel 6a and Pixel Buds Pro first went on sale in India through Flipkart on July 28, 2022. The Pixel 6a launched at ₹43,999 for 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, while the Pixel Buds Pro cost ₹19,990. The discounts, exchange bonuses and accessory bundles below were launch-period promotions, not confirmed current offers.

Pixel 6a launch offers
Flipkart promotions changed by date, card type and transaction method. Reports cited different Axis Bank discounts—₹2,000, ₹2,250 and, during pre-ordering, up to ₹4,000—so none should be treated as a universal reduction from the listed price.
- Bank promotions: Eligible Axis Bank transactions were reported to receive an instant discount. Digit also reported up to ₹1,500 for selected SBI cardholders and 5% cashback on Flipkart Axis Bank cards.
- Exchange: Advertised savings reached “up to” ₹19,000 in some reports. Other reported tiers included ₹6,000 for an old Pixel or selected smartphone and ₹2,000 for other eligible phones. The actual value depended on model, condition, inspection and Flipkart eligibility.
- Accessory pricing: Launch reports listed discounted add-ons including the Google Nest Hub (2nd Gen), Pixel Buds A-Series, Fitbit Inspire 2 and Nest Mini. One reported bundle price for the first three products was ₹4,999, while a Nest Mini offer was reported at ₹1,999.
- Trials: Three-month trials of YouTube Premium and Google One were reported, subject to account eligibility and any renewal terms.
Card offers could require a particular network, EMI purchase, minimum order value or eligible seller. “Up to” exchange amounts were not guaranteed discounts, and limited bundles could sell out or be restricted to one per order.

Pixel 6a specifications that shaped the buying decision
- 6.1-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate
- Google Tensor processor and Titan M2 security coprocessor
- 6GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB internal storage
- 12.2-megapixel main rear camera and 12-megapixel ultrawide camera
- 8-megapixel front camera
- 4,410mAh battery with 18W wired charging
- IP67 dust and water resistance
- Android 12 at launch
Its appeal was Google’s software and computational photography, including features such as Night Sight and Magic Eraser, in a relatively compact body. The trade-offs were a 60Hz panel, modest 18W charging, fixed 128GB storage and a plastic rear panel—limitations that mattered more at the full ₹43,999 price than after a substantial promotion.
Pixel Buds Pro features and battery claims
- Active noise cancellation and transparency mode
- Multipoint connectivity for switching between devices
- Capacitive touch controls and Bluetooth 5.0
- Earbud IPX4 splash resistance; charging case IPX2
- USB Type-C and Qi wireless charging
- Up to 31 hours of total listening without ANC, including the case
- Up to 11 hours per earbud without ANC, or up to 7 hours with ANC
- Five minutes of charging for up to one hour of listening, according to launch reporting
Those battery numbers were manufacturer claims reported at launch, not independent test results. Runtime varies with ANC, volume, codecs and other settings. Splash ratings do not make the earbuds or case waterproof. Bluetooth 5.0 also does not, by itself, guarantee every advanced codec or feature on every phone.
Rank #2
Google announced Charcoal, Coral, Fog and Lemongrass finishes, while an Indian Flipkart listing was reported to highlight a Carbon/Charcoal version. Announced colours therefore should not be confused with confirmed inventory in India. More launch details are in Gadgets 360’s Pixel Buds Pro report.
Who each product suited at launch
Pixel 6a
The phone made the most sense for buyers prioritising Pixel camera processing, Google’s Android experience, a smaller handset and IP67 protection. Buyers wanting a high-refresh display, very fast charging or expandable storage had stronger reasons to consider alternatives, especially without a bank or exchange reduction.
Rank #3
- Network Support: Unlocked
Pixel Buds Pro
The earbuds targeted Android users who wanted ANC, transparency, multipoint and a wireless-charging case, with particularly convenient integration into Google’s ecosystem. iPhone users may find the feature experience less compelling than Apple’s tightly integrated alternatives. A discounted bundle with the Pixel 6a could improve the value proposition for a Pixel buyer, but did not automatically make the earbuds the best standalone purchase.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How to interpret the old Flipkart offers
- Start with the listed price—₹43,999 for Pixel 6a or ₹19,990 for Pixel Buds Pro—rather than an advertised effective price.
- Check the exact card, EMI, cashback and minimum-order conditions shown for that promotion.
- For exchange, confirm the precise model, inspection rules and final valuation; never assume the maximum “up to” amount.
- Read accessory and subscription terms, including quantity limits, eligible accounts and auto-renewal settings.
- For any present-day marketplace listing, verify the seller, warranty, return policy, condition and delivery date before paying.
Historical availability note
The India launch described here occurred on July 28, 2022. Current stock, pricing, warranty coverage and seller legitimacy were not established by the launch reports. Four-year-old Pixel 6a phones may have battery or support considerations, while old Pixel Buds Pro inventory may have degraded earbud batteries. Check Flipkart or the Google Store directly for any current listing instead of relying on the historical prices or bundles.
