On Thursday, October 30, 2025, the reported closing benchmark in Pakistan was Rs 418,862 per tola for 24-karat gold and Rs 5,034 per tola for 24-karat silver. These are historical market rates attributed to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) by contemporaneous news outlets—not current quotes or guaranteed prices at a jewelry shop.

How the October 30 rates changed
ARY News reported that 24-karat gold fell Rs 1,000 per tola and Rs 857 per 10 grams from the previous day. The previous-day comparison was Rs 419,862 per tola and Rs 359,963 per 10 grams on October 29. Silver was reported unchanged from the previous day at Rs 5,034 per tola.

ARY News’ October 29 rate report provides the prior-day comparison. Mettis Global’s October 31 comparison table also records October 30 gold at Rs 418,862 per tola and silver at Rs 5,034 per tola.
Why another report gives a different gold figure
PKRevenue reported Rs 419,862 per tola and Rs 359,963 per 10 grams as Thursday opening prices, describing them as increases from its preceding comparison. The per-tola figure matches the October 29 rate reported by ARY News. ARY News and HUM News instead give Rs 418,862 per tola as the October 30 closing figure, a Rs 1,000 decline from the prior day.

The figures refer to different time snapshots, so they should not be combined as if they were one closing rate. For the October 30 closing benchmark, the matching ARY News, HUM News, and next-day Mettis Global figures are Rs 418,862 per tola for 24-karat gold. A tola price and a 10-gram price use different weight bases; compare like units, or check the unit before using a figure. The reports also distinguish 24-karat from 22-karat gold, so a rate for one purity should not be treated as the rate for the other.
