Three reports—APP via UrduPoint, Mettis Global and Pakistan Revenue—published the following local rates, attributing them to Pakistan’s national gems and jewellers sarafa association. APP and Mettis said the rates were unchanged from the preceding session; Pakistan Revenue identified that session as Saturday, November 22.

International reference prices reported that day
APP and Pakistan Revenue reported association-style international references of USD 4,065 per ounce for gold and USD 49.98 per ounce for silver. Mettis Global separately described spot gold as near USD 4,062 per ounce, down USD 12.5, or 0.31%, from the prior session. These are differently framed reports, so the figures should not be treated as one exact quotation.

How to use these rates when comparing a quote
The local figures are reference market rates, not a promise of what a shop will charge or pay. Pakistan Revenue says the association’s rates reflect international bullion prices and prevailing interbank foreign-currency rates, but the reports do not provide a detailed pricing formula.

- Match the unit: compare per-tola with per-tola, or 10-gram with 10-gram.
- Distinguish a local Pakistan rate from an international per-ounce reference.
- For a retail quote, ask separately about any premium, making or workmanship charges, and buyback terms. The cited reports do not quantify these amounts.

A Pakistan Observer search-result snippet listed 24-karat gold at Rs 437,600 per tola and silver at Rs 5,350 per tola. Its page could not be accessed for full verification. APP, Mettis Global and Pakistan Revenue agree on Rs 428,862 per tola for 24-karat gold and Rs 5,270 per tola for 24-karat silver, so those are the corroborated figures presented above; the conflicting snippet cannot be resolved from the accessible page.
