On January 26, 2026, reports attributing prices to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) put 24K gold at Rs. 532,062 per tola and 24K silver at Rs. 11,428 per tola. These are historical rates, not current quotes. Mettis Global also reported the respective 10-gram rates as Rs. 456,157 and Rs. 9,797.
Association-reported rates on January 26
The following local rates were reported by Mettis Global on January 26, 2026, citing APGJSA. They are quoted in Pakistani rupees (PKR):

Why published figures differ
The TechJuice page carrying the exact dated title lists lower figures: 24K gold at Rs. 527,167 per tola, Rs. 451,968.7 per 10 grams and Rs. 45,196.87 per gram; and 24K silver at Rs. 11,212.17 per tola, Rs. 9,612.79 per 10 grams and Rs. 961.279 per gram. It also gives international prices of $5,075.54 per ounce for gold and $108.054 per ounce for silver. Those are figures published by TechJuice, not the APGJSA-attributed rates reported by Mettis Global. TechJuice

Contemporary coverage supports Rs. 532,062 per tola as the more reliable association-reported gold rate for January 26: The Express Tribune reported that figure on January 26, and ARY News said the next day that gold had fallen to Rs. 530,562 from Rs. 532,062 the previous day. The reviewed reports do not explain why TechJuice lists different gold and silver values, so the difference should not be treated as a confirmed intraday update. ARY News · The Express Tribune
Context from the previous day
For comparison, Dawn reported January 25, 2026 APGJSA rates of Rs. 524,162 per tola for 24K gold and Rs. 10,801 per tola for 24K silver. These are January 25 figures, not the January 26 rates. In that report, APSGJA president Qasim Shikarpuri said a settlement between European countries and the US on tariff issues “may trigger a downward correction in world gold prices.” That was a forecast tied to tariff developments at the time, not a confirmed later outcome. Local rates are not international spot prices
A Pakistani rupee rate per tola or per 10 grams is a local-market quote; a dollar price per ounce is a different measure. Compare prices only after checking the date, unit, purity and source. The international per-ounce figures published by TechJuice should not be presented as equivalent to APGJSA-attributed local rates.
