Gold and silver rates in Pakistan on 26 December 2025
Mettis Global and Business Recorder reported the local rates below as figures from the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA). The reports agree on the 24-karat per-tola and 10-gram prices.

For comparison, Mettis Global listed the previous reported per-tola rates as Rs472,862 for gold and Rs7,705 for silver. Why another page may show different prices
TechJuice published different figures on a page carrying the same date and topic: Rs473,860 per tola for gold and Rs7,851.83 per tola for silver, with 10-gram figures of Rs406,265.9 and Rs6,731.79. Those numbers do not match the contemporaneous Mettis Global and Business Recorder reports, and the available information does not explain the discrepancy. What the daily change and global context mean
Mettis Global reported that international gold was near $4,518 per troy ounce, up $23.2, or 0.52%, from the prior session. That international quote is in US dollars per troy ounce, so it is not directly comparable with Pakistan’s local rates in rupees per tola or per 10 grams. Mettis Global attributed the international move to speculative buying, thin year-end liquidity, expectations of further US interest-rate cuts, and geopolitical risks; these were the publisher’s explanations, not independently established causes. How to use these figures when checking a quote
- Match both purity and unit: compare 24K with 24K and per tola with per tola, or per 10 grams with per 10 grams.
- Treat the published rates as a dated benchmark. The reports attribute them to APGJSA, but no direct archived APGJSA rate sheet was located, so they are not a direct association release independently confirmed here.
- A shop’s bullion or jewelry price may differ from the benchmark. Retail premiums, city-level variation, and individual seller terms were not established in these reports.
- For a physical purchase, check the stated purity, any premium or making charges, the receipt, and the seller’s buyback terms rather than assuming the benchmark is the transaction price.
