The GIC Re Scale I Officer admit card for the FY 2023–24 recruitment was reported released on March 4, 2024, ahead of the online examination scheduled for March 9, 2024. That exam date has passed. GIC Re’s Careers archive preserves the official March 1 call-letter notice, but it does not establish that the historical login or download link still works. Which GIC Scale I exam was this?
This article concerns GIC Re’s FY 2023–24 Scale I Officer recruitment, not the later FY 2024–25 recruitment cycle. GIC Re’s Careers archive lists the FY 2023–24 online examination for March 9, 2024, and includes a notice dated March 1, 2024, about downloading the call letter and information handout. Was the admit card released, and where was it downloaded?
Scroll.in reported on March 4, 2024, that GIC had released the Scale I admit card. Its reported download route was through the official GIC Re website and Careers section, followed by candidate login. The report also listed 85 Scale I Officer vacancies for that recruitment drive. The historical direct login endpoint’s present availability is not established. Use the Careers archive to find the preserved notice; do not assume a past candidate portal can still issue or retrieve the call letter.
How candidates downloaded the 2024 call letter
- Visit gicre.in and open Careers.
- Select the GIC Scale I admit-card or call-letter link for the FY 2023–24 recruitment.
- Enter the requested candidate login details and submit them.
- When the call letter appears, download it and print a copy.
These are the steps reported at the time of release. Because the examination was held in March 2024, the old candidate-login route may no longer be available.

GIC Re’s examination information handout instructs candidates to check the call letter for the examination date, reporting time, and venue address. It also specifies the documents candidates were to bring:
- The call letter with a recent passport-size photograph pasted on it.
- A photocopy of identity proof, stapled to the call letter.
- The same currently valid photo identity proof in original.
The handout warns that the name on the call letter should match the name on the photo ID. Consult the official GIC Re Careers archive for the handout and its complete identity-document instructions; do not rely on an abbreviated list if checking the original requirements.
