No—GameStop is not offering the deal now. GameStop Canada advertised Dragon Age: The Veilguard for CAD $59.99, down from CAD $89.99, from December 6 through December 15, 2024. That was a CAD $30 discount on the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions, and the promotion has expired.
What was included in GameStop Canada’s promotion?
MobileSyrup reported on December 5, 2024, that GameStop Canada planned to sell the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions for CAD $59.99 during the ten-day sale. The reported regular price was CAD $89.99; the difference between those prices is CAD $30. The offer was for Canada and should not be read as a U.S. GameStop price.
The sale ran from December 6 to December 15, 2024. Those dates have passed, so the report describes a historical promotion, not a currently available deal. MobileSyrup’s December 5, 2024 report is the source for the retailer, dates, prices and listed console versions.
Does the old price apply to every version?
No. The GameStop promotion covered the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions. It did not establish a price for PC, a digital edition, or a current retail listing. EA identifies the game as a single-player RPG released October 31, 2024, with PC, PlayStation and Xbox versions on its official product page.

Those were historical U.S. launch prices; they are not current prices and are not directly comparable to the Canadian GameStop promotion because the country, currency and date differ. How to assess a price you find now
- Match the country and currency. The expired offer was from GameStop Canada and its prices were in Canadian dollars.
- Match the platform and format. The promotion concerned console versions for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. A PC or digital-store price is a different offer.
- Check the live listing before buying. The historical report does not establish current GameStop inventory or pricing. EA’s buy page may display a digital price that varies by region and time; it is not evidence of a current GameStop deal.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
