The flyer was not one storewide offer: individual promotions had their own start dates, eligibility rules and inventory limits, and GameStop said prices and availability could change.
What GameStop’s Black Friday 2025 ad included
The official flyer, branded “Deals & Offers | 11.16 – 11.22,” covered both gaming hardware and general merchandise. Its headline offers were:
| Offer | Conditions stated in the flyer | Where or how it applied |
|---|---|---|
| Save $25 on pre-owned PS4 and Xbox One consoles | Prices subject to change; while supplies last | Pre-owned consoles; confirm store and online inventory |
| Selected games now $20 or less | Examples included LEGO 2K Drive, Carnival Games and Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster | Selected titles only |
| Selected games now $30 or less | Examples included WWE 2K25, Minecraft and Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2 | Selected titles only |
| 10% off all pre-owned headsets and controllers | Buy any console or system; the flyer uses “all” for the eligible pre-owned accessories | Purchase-trigger promotion |
| 30% off selected Borderlands 4 and METAL GEAR SOLID DELTA: SNAKE EATER accessories | Selected accessories only | Check the individual product listing or store tag |
| Buy 2, get 1 free | Free item must be equal or lesser value; does not stack with Black Friday weekend offers | Selected Funko Pops!, homeware, statues, fashion accessories, board games, board-game accessories and trading-card accessories |
The ad also listed apparel at $10 for T-shirts, $20 for button-up and polo shirts, and $30 for hoodies, sleepwear and sweaters, excluding clearance merchandise.

Some of the most prominent non-gaming offers were explicitly marked in-store only:

- Additional clearance discounts: Pros received 50% off all clearance, while non-Pros received 30% off clearance.
Because these offers depended on physical-store stock, check the participating location before traveling. The flyer’s “while supplies last” language also applied to availability-sensitive promotions.
When did the early Black Friday deals start?
The featured flyer window ran from November 16 through November 22, 2025. A contemporaneous description of the full 15-page ad said individual offers began on different dates, so the November 16–22 range should not be treated as a universal start and end date for every item. For any specific deal, use the date printed with that offer and confirm the price at checkout or in the store.

How to judge whether a GameStop deal was worthwhile
Compare pre-owned and new prices
The $25 console reduction applied to pre-owned PS4 and Xbox One systems, not automatically to new hardware. Compare the discounted pre-owned price with new, refurbished and used listings, and account for warranty coverage, included cables, storage capacity and controller condition.
Calculate the accessory discount only after the trigger purchase
The 10% controller and headset offer required buying a console or system. It is useful when the accessory is already part of the purchase, but it is not a standalone 10% discount. Work out the combined checkout total rather than judging the percentage in isolation.

Use “buy 2, get 1” only when the third item has real value
Since the free item had to be equal to or lower in price, the effective discount depended on the three items’ prices. Choose the least expensive item as the free one and verify that the promotion can be used on the exact products in your cart. It did not stack with Black Friday weekend offers.
Treat game price caps as title-specific
“Now $20 or less” and “now $30 or less” described selected games, not every game in the store. Confirm the exact edition, platform and condition before comparing the advertised price with another retailer.
Rank #4
- Controllers are original OEM (not 3rd party)
- Tested and works well. Nice condition
Online versus in-store: what shoppers should verify
- Eligibility: the flyer identified some offers as in-store only; online availability was not guaranteed for every promotion.
- Condition: the console and accessory deals were specifically tied to pre-owned products, while the game tiers did not establish one universal condition for every title.
- Timing: each offer could have a separate start and end date.
- Stock: prices and inventory were subject to change, and offers could end when supplies ran out.
- Stacking: the buy-2-get-1 promotion expressly did not stack with Black Friday weekend offers; do not assume other discounts combine unless the checkout or store signage says so.
A practical checkout checklist
- Check the offer’s own date and whether it is online, in-store or both.
- Confirm the item’s condition, platform, edition and included accessories.
- For a console purchase, verify the pre-owned system’s price, model and return or warranty terms.
- Add any required trigger item before evaluating an accessory discount.
- For multi-buy promotions, make sure every item is eligible and that the free item is the equal-or-lower-priced one.
- Recheck the final price, stock status and any exclusions before paying.
What remains true about the 2025 ad today
This was a 2025 promotion, not a standing GameStop price list. The advertised dates have passed, and current prices, inventory, store participation and online availability may be different. Use the flyer as a record of the offers GameStop advertised for that Black Friday period, not as evidence that the same discounts remain active.
The Bottom Line
The strongest clearly defined hardware offer was $25 off selected pre-owned PS4 and Xbox One consoles, with a conditional 10% accessory discount available when buying a console or system. The rest of the ad mixed title-specific game prices, non-stacking multi-buy deals and in-store clearance promotions, so the exact item, date, channel and stock limits determined the real value.
