The FTC is no longer accepting Fortnite refund claims; the deadline was July 9, 2025. If you filed after February 14, 2025, the FTC says your claim is under review and you do not need to take further action right now. The agency expects another round of payments in 2026, but has not given an exact date for an individual payment.
Can I still file a Fortnite refund claim?
No. The claim window closed on July 9, 2025. The FTC is not accepting new claims. The FTC Fortnite Refunds page is the official place to check for updates.

The program followed Epic Games’ agreement to a $245 million settlement resolving FTC allegations about unwanted in-game purchases, children’s unauthorized charges, and account access restrictions after users disputed charges. These were allegations resolved through settlement, not findings that a court made after trial. The FTC says the settlement requires Epic to get positive consent before charging users and bars locking players out for disputing unauthorized charges. The FTC says it will never demand money, make threats, tell you to transfer money, or promise you a prize to obtain a refund. Treat requests for payment, transfer instructions, threats, or offers to file a new claim or speed up payment as warning signs.
