What are the published wage estimates?
The available figures are estimates from two salary websites, not verified contract amounts. They do not agree on Brewster’s Derby wage.

SalaryLeaks says its page was last updated on June 17, 2026. Salary Sport does not attach a publication year to its Derby row, so its £18,000 figure should be treated as the figure currently listed there, not as a confirmed amount for a specific season.
How much less would the Salary Sport figures mean?
Comparing Salary Sport’s two entries gives a conditional difference of £16,000 per week, or £832,000 annualized. The weekly figure is about 47% below its Sheffield United estimate. These are calculations from that publisher’s estimates; they do not establish that Brewster took a pay cut of that amount.

What is confirmed about Brewster’s move?
Derby County announced on August 1, 2025 that Brewster joined as a free agent after leaving Sheffield United. The club said he signed a two-year contract through summer 2027, but did not disclose his salary. The FA’s 2025/26 agent transactions record lists Rhian Joel Brewster as a new Derby registration and also gives no wage figure.

Both salary figures are supplied by secondary estimate sites, while the official club announcement and FA registration record establish the move but not its financial terms. Salary Sport’s £18,000 Derby estimate and SalaryLeaks’ £35,000 estimate differ by £17,000 a week. Without a published contractual figure, the actual amount—and whether it is lower than Brewster’s Sheffield United pay—cannot be confirmed from these sources.
