Freedom Mobile’s reported $59-per-month plan with 150GB of data was a short-term promotion in March 2025, not a verified current deal. The sale was reported to end March 31, 2025, and a follow-up report said the $59 and $55 offers had ended.
What the March 2025 promotion included
MobileSyrup reported on March 28, 2025, that Freedom Mobile increased the data allowance on its $59 plan from 100GB to 150GB for a flash sale. The report also described a $55-per-month option for customers bringing their own phone. These are historical reported prices, not current plan terms.
- Price and data: $59 per month for 150GB, or $55 per month with a bring-your-own-phone option, according to MobileSyrup’s March 28, 2025 report.
- Canada, U.S. and Mexico: The report described the plan as covering use in all three countries, including the 150GB allowance.
- Talk and text: Unlimited talk and text were included, according to the same report.
- Other international roaming: The report listed 25GB of roaming data in other countries. It did not establish that this allowance or its destinations remain available today.
- Additional line and retention: The report mentioned a tablet/watch plan with 5GB and a three-month minimum retention condition.
When did the sale end?
The March 28 report said the flash sale ran until March 31, 2025. An April 3, 2025 follow-up from iPhone in Canada said the $55/150GB and $59/150GB offers had ended. The available reporting therefore does not support treating either price as available now.
