- its full legal company name;
- the country in which it is authorised;
- the regulator and licence or reference number;
- the exact website and contact details covered by that authorisation;
- where client money is held; and
- the complaints, compensation and withdrawal arrangements that apply.
If ForexGrand supplies only a brand name, a generic certificate, an address in an offshore jurisdiction or a regulator number that cannot be matched independently, that is a serious warning sign.
Is ForexGrand regulated?
Do not rely on a regulatory logo displayed on the ForexGrand website. Check the regulator’s own register by typing the regulator’s web address into your browser, rather than following a link supplied by the broker.
For UK residents
- Open the FCA Financial Services Register.
- Search for “ForexGrand”, the company name shown in the account agreement and any licence number.
- Open the result and compare the authorised firm’s website, telephone number, trading names and permissions with the details you received.
- Check that the permission covers the service being offered. Authorisation for one activity does not automatically authorise forex or CFD dealing.
- Check the FCA warning list as well as the register.
A missing result is not the only problem. A clone firm may copy a genuine company’s name, address or reference number while using different contact details. A register entry is useful only when the complete identity matches.

If the firm is based outside the UK, check the regulator in that jurisdiction too. An offshore licence may not provide UK Financial Services Compensation Scheme protection, Financial Ombudsman Service access or the conduct standards that apply to an FCA-authorised firm.

There is a difference between “I have not found proof of fraud” and “this broker is safe”. The available basis for treating ForexGrand as a legitimate broker is not strong enough for the second conclusion. Until the legal entity and authorisation can be verified, the sensible classification is unverified and high risk.
Be particularly wary if you encountered ForexGrand through a social-media advert, a Telegram or WhatsApp group, a dating-app contact, a cold call or a promised “managed account”. Genuine investment firms do not need to pressure prospects into making a same-day deposit.

Can you trust the trading platform or account balance?
No. A login page, MetaTrader account or web dashboard proves only that someone created access for you. It does not prove that trades are being sent to a real market, that the quoted prices are genuine or that the balance is withdrawable.
Before depositing, ask for the broker’s order-execution policy, client-money policy and complete fee schedule. Look for specific information about spreads, commissions, overnight financing, withdrawal charges, dormant-account fees, leverage, negative-balance protection and the legal entity that contracts with you.
Do not install software supplied through an unsolicited message. If you already granted remote access, disconnect the device from the internet, remove the software and change banking, email and trading passwords from a clean device. Contact your bank immediately.

What protection would a UK-authorised broker provide?
Authorisation does not make trading safe and does not protect you from a losing trade. It does, however, place the firm within a regulatory framework. Depending on the service and failed entity, protections may include client-money rules, conduct requirements, complaint escalation and possible FSCS compensation.
Those protections generally do not cover:
- losses because the forex market moved against you;
- poor trading decisions;
- promised returns that were never real;
- an unauthorised offshore firm; or
- a clone website impersonating an authorised broker.
Never assume that an FCA logo or an “FSCS protected” statement is genuine. Confirm the firm and permissions on the FCA register before relying on the claim.
How to check ForexGrand before depositing
- Find the contract entity. Read the account-opening agreement, terms and privacy notice. Record the exact company name, registration country and address.
- Check the regulator directly. Search the official register, not a page linked from the broker’s website.
- Match every detail. Compare the domain, email address, phone number and trading name with the register.
- Check the warning lists. Search the FCA warning list and the relevant overseas regulator’s warnings for both “ForexGrand” and the legal entity.
- Verify payment ownership. The bank-account name should make sense and should not be an individual’s name or an unrelated business.
- Test the withdrawal process. Do not treat a small successful withdrawal as proof of legitimacy; scammers sometimes allow this to encourage a larger deposit. Never pay a new release fee.
- Get independent advice. Use MoneyHelper or an FCA-authorised adviser. Do not use a “recovery agent” recommended by the people who contacted you.
What to do if you have already paid ForexGrand
- Stop sending money, even if an agent says the payment is needed to unlock your account.
- Call your bank or card provider using the number on its official website or card. Explain that you may have been the victim of an investment scam and ask whether a payment recall, chargeback or card-protection process is available.
- Report the matter to Action Fraud in England, Wales or Northern Ireland, or to Police Scotland if appropriate.
- Preserve evidence: emails, phone numbers, wallet addresses, bank details, screenshots, platform statements and chat histories.
- Change passwords, enable two-factor authentication and tell your bank if you disclosed account credentials or security codes.
- Ignore anyone promising guaranteed recovery for an upfront payment. Recovery scams often target victims a second time.

Does ForexGrand have an FCA licence?
Do not assume that it does. Search the FCA Financial Services Register for ForexGrand and for the legal company named in its terms. A genuine result must match the website, telephone number, email domain and permissions being claimed.
Can I get my money back from ForexGrand?
Act quickly. Contact your bank or card provider, explain that you may have made an investment-scam payment and ask about recall or chargeback options. Keep all evidence and report the case to Action Fraud. Do not pay an upfront recovery firm without independently checking it.
Are forex profits protected by the FSCS?
