FMGE December 2024 application dates
The application window opened on October 28, 2024, at 3 PM and closed on November 18, 2024, at 11:55 PM. NBEMS listed January 12, 2025, as the examination date. Those dates apply to the December 2024 session; they are not dates for a current application cycle. The official-linked 2024 application portal is closed.
Where to find the current FMGE application link
For a later session, start at the NBEMS FMGE page. Check the latest session bulletin and notices there before applying, since dates, requirements and fees can change between sessions. Use the application link published for that session rather than attempting to use the closed December 2024 portal.
Eligibility and reported application fee
NBEMS’s general FMGE eligibility description covers Indian citizens or Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) candidates who hold a primary medical qualification confirmed by the relevant Indian Embassy as recognized for practitioner enrolment in the country where the institution awarding the degree is located. This summary is not a substitute for the applicable session bulletin, which sets out the complete criteria.

Scroll reported on October 29, 2024, that the December 2024 application fee was Rs 6,195: Rs 5,250 examination fee plus Rs 945 GST. This is a contemporaneous secondary-source report; consult the official bulletin for authoritative fee terms.

NBEMS stated that the December 2024 result was declared on January 19, 2025. It required in-person identity and credential verification for pass-certificate distribution. The result notice also cautioned that the scorecard could not be used to seek State Medical Council registration, stating: “The score card of FMGE December 2024 issued by NBEMS at its website CAN NOT be presented before a State Medical Council for the purpose of seeking registration.”
