There is no verified final purse disclosure for Floyd Mayweather Jr. and John Gotti III’s August 24, 2024 rematch. Before the event, Mundo Deportivo estimated Mayweather’s pay at $20 million to $25 million, while Sporty Salaries reported a $10 million base figure and conditional higher totals for both fighters if pay-per-view sales passed a specified threshold. The August 24, 2024 bout in Mexico City was an exhibition rematch, not a professional contest with a disclosed commission purse. The WBC described it as a rematch of the fighters’ June 2023 exhibition. Its event preview supports the event context, but does not confirm either fighter’s compensation.
