The announcement describes the feature at a high level; it does not establish that the service is available today, explain its execution rules or fees, or show that copying trades is likely to be profitable.
What FinRex announced
In a company-attributed release distributed by GlobeNewswire on March 28, 2024, FinRex said it had launched copy trading for its spot market. The release said the function would let users replicate trades made by other FinRex traders. It did not specify how copied orders would be sized, when they would execute, or how users could limit or stop copying. Read FinRex’s March 28, 2024 announcement on GlobeNewswire.
FinRex said its platform served stocks, forex, commodities and “over 60 different cryptocurrencies.” That figure is the company’s claim about its asset range at the time of the announcement, not a verified current listing count. The release framed easier trade-following and less need to monitor markets constantly as aims of the feature, not demonstrated user outcomes.
How spot copy trading works
In spot trading, a user buys or sells an asset rather than taking a futures position. A copy-trading feature is designed to mirror another trader’s transactions in a follower’s account. The FinRex announcement establishes that general idea, but provides no detailed mechanics: it does not say whether copied orders use fixed amounts or proportional sizing, how quickly they follow a trader’s order, or what happens if a follower lacks funds or an asset is unavailable.

What the announcement does not establish
- Current availability: The 2024 announcement does not confirm that FinRex’s feature remains active or identify jurisdictions where it can be used.
- Fees and execution: It does not state trading fees, any profit-sharing charge, order pricing, slippage rules or other execution terms.
- Custody and security: FinRex described itself as decentralized and said blockchain technology protected users’ funds and information. The release supplied no technical documentation, custody details or independent security assessment to substantiate those claims.
- Performance: It provides no independently verified results, success rate or evidence that copying a trader is likely to produce a profit. No individual is named or quoted in the release.
FinRex’s wording that users could “potentially profit” from experienced traders’ expertise is promotional language, not a performance guarantee or evidence of likely returns.
What to verify before using a copy-trading service
Do not assume the details documented by another exchange apply to FinRex. For comparison, Binance’s May 15, 2024 support announcement describes its own spot copy trading, including Fixed Amount and Fixed Ratio modes and portfolio performance metrics. Binance also warns that availability varies by region and that copy trading carries substantial risk. Those are Binance-specific disclosures, not FinRex terms. See Binance’s spot copy-trading announcement.

- As a day trader, you can live and work anywhere in the world. You can decide when to work and when not to work.
- You only answer to yourself. That is the life of the successful day trader. Many people aspire to it, but very few succeed. Day trading is not gambling or an online poker game.
- To be successful at day trading you need the right tools and you need to be motivated, to work hard, and to persevere.
Before considering any provider, verify the following directly in its current official materials:
- Whether the service is available in your jurisdiction and what legal entity provides it.
- Whether it copies spot trades, derivatives, or both, and how order size is calculated.
- What trading fees, profit-sharing charges and other costs apply.
- Who holds the funds and assets, and what control you retain over them.
- Which performance figures are shown, the period they cover, and whether they include fees and losing accounts.
- Whether you can set limits, pause copying or close positions independently.
- What risks the provider discloses, including loss of principal and differences between a lead trader’s execution and your own.
Can copied trades lose money?
Yes. Copying another trader does not remove market risk or guarantee that your account receives the same prices or results as theirs. A copied strategy can lose value, and the FinRex release supplies no evidence that its feature avoids those risks. Treat any claimed historical performance as something to scrutinize, not a promise about future results.
