FaxMonkey lets you send a fax online without a fax machine, account or subscription. On its US page, the service charges $1 for the first page and $0.25 for each additional page; you upload a document, enter the recipient’s fax number, pay online and receive a transmission report by email.
How to send a fax with FaxMonkey
- Upload your document. FaxMonkey accepts PDF and Word documents, as well as images.
- Enter the recipient details. Provide the fax number and select the destination country.
- Review the fax. Preview the document before sending, then provide an email address for the transmission report.
- Pay and send. Payment is processed through Stripe. FaxMonkey says transmission starts immediately after successful payment.
The browser workflow means you do not need a fax machine or additional software, and the company says users can send a fax without registering.
What FaxMonkey charges
FaxMonkey’s official US page lists $1.00 for the first page and $0.25 for each additional page. The company says there are no subscriptions, base fees or hidden charges. Its FAQ describes per-page pricing and says there is no page limit. These prices are for the US page; the cited material does not establish pricing for other destinations.
What happens after you send it
FaxMonkey says it emails a transmission report after sending. That report is useful for checking the transmission outcome, but it should not be confused with proof that the recipient read or acted on the document.
