Vin Diesel is the highest-paid name in the available per-film reporting: he was reportedly paid $20 million for Fast X (2023), and a 2025 Wall Street Journal report says he now earns more than $25 million per film. These are media-reported figures, not publicly confirmed contract amounts.
Who was paid the most in the Fast & Furious movies?
Vin Diesel leads the reported per-film figures. For Fast X, El Comercio reported that Diesel earned $20 million, attributing the figure to Variety. A later Wall Street Journal report, based on people familiar with compensation, said Diesel now makes more than $25 million per film. The newer figure describes his current reported fee, not necessarily his pay for Fast X.

That makes Diesel the clearest reported top earner in the available accounts. It does not establish an exact ranking of every actor across the entire franchise: there is no complete public ledger of cast salaries, and the reported amounts are not confirmed contract disclosures.
Reported Fast X salaries
El Comercio’s 2023 account reported the following salaries for Fast X. It attributed Diesel’s figure to Variety; the other amounts are reported by El Comercio. No underlying contracts are disclosed in that account.

The first-film figure is disputed: the Los Angeles Times reported $1 million, while El Comercio later reported $2 million and attributed it to Variety. The accounts do not resolve the difference, and no public contract or primary studio disclosure establishes which amount is correct.
What the newer cast-pay report says
The 2025 Wall Street Journal account says Diesel makes more than $25 million per film and that ensemble cast members earn between $2 million and $10 million. Those figures are attributed to people familiar with compensation. The broad ensemble range is not a film-by-film list, so it should not be treated as a direct update to every name or salary in the Fast X table.

Forbes’ 2015 highest-paid actors list put Diesel’s earnings at $47 million for the reporting period, as reported by TIME. That is an annual earnings figure, not his fee for one Fast & Furious movie. Annual rankings measure a different period and can include income beyond a single film, so they cannot be fairly ranked alongside per-film salaries.
