There is no verified public figure for Eddie Hearn’s personal net worth. Celebrity Net Worth estimates it at $400 million, but that is a publisher’s estimate—not an audited balance sheet or a figure Hearn has disclosed. When asked his net worth in a 2023 interview with The Guardian, Hearn replied, “No idea!”
What the reported figures actually measure
Several large numbers associated with Hearn refer to Matchroom, the sports-promotion business, rather than his individual wealth. Net worth, company valuation, revenue and profit are different measures; none can be substituted for another.
| Figure | What it refers to | Source and qualification |
|---|---|---|
| $400 million | Estimated personal net worth | Celebrity Net Worth displayed this estimate and said its page was last updated May 15, 2026. It is not a verified disclosure. |
| £800 million to £1 billion | Estimated value of Matchroom, not Hearn’s personal wealth | An unnamed source close to Hearn gave this range in a 2023 Guardian interview. |
| $365 million revenue; $60 million net profit | Matchroom Sport’s business performance | Forbes estimates for fiscal 2023, the year ended June 30. These are not Hearn’s personal income or wealth. |
| $235 million | Matchroom’s boxing sales | Forbes’s estimate for fiscal 2023; this is a business figure, not an individual net-worth figure. |
| $1.35 billion | Reported Matchroom valuation | Sports Business Journal reported in 2026, citing Sportico, that Bruin Capital bought 15% of Matchroom at this valuation in May 2026. The report does not establish Hearn’s ownership percentage or personal net worth. |
Why Matchroom’s value does not reveal Hearn’s net worth
A company valuation describes the value attributed to a business or its equity in a particular context. It does not say how much of that business a particular person owns, what their other assets or debts are, or what they would retain after taxes and any transaction terms. The available reporting does not establish the information needed to calculate Hearn’s personal net worth from Matchroom’s valuation.
The same distinction applies to revenue and profit. Matchroom’s sales are not Hearn’s personal earnings, and company profit is not automatically paid to him. Without documented ownership and personal financial information, these business figures provide scale, not a personal balance sheet.

What is known about Hearn’s role at Matchroom
Matchroom’s official biography says Hearn joined the company in 2000, initially taking responsibility for its newly formed golf management business. He later became Group Managing Director and was appointed chairman in April 2021. Matchroom says he oversees Matchroom Boxing, Matchroom Boxing USA, the Professional Darts Corporation, PGA EuroPro Tour and Matchroom Media.
The biography also cites the 2014 Froch–Groves II event at Wembley, which it says drew 80,000 attendees, and a reported 2018 DAZN deal for 16 fights a year across America, valued at $1 billion. Those milestones illustrate the scale of the sports business associated with Hearn; they do not disclose his personal finances.

How to assess a celebrity net-worth claim
- Identify whose value is being reported: an individual’s wealth and a company’s value are not the same.
- Check the metric: net worth, valuation, revenue and profit answer different questions.
- Check the source and date: a dated estimate from a net-worth publisher is not equivalent to a financial disclosure.
- Look for the underlying inputs: calculating personal net worth requires evidence about assets, liabilities and ownership, not just a company headline figure.
