To find someone’s Amazon Wish List, use Amazon’s Find a List or Registry tool on Amazon.com or search through the Amazon app’s gifting and registry section. If no result appears, ask the list owner to share a link or invitation: not every list is publicly searchable.
Find a Wish List on Amazon.com in a browser
- Sign in to Amazon.com.
- Open Account & Lists.
- Under Your Lists, select Find a List or Registry.
- Enter the person’s name. If Amazon asks what kind of registry you’re looking for, choose the relevant type.
- Check the name and occasion details in the results before opening a list, especially if the person has a common name.

Search in the Amazon app
- Open the app’s bottom menu.
- Tap Gifting & Registry.
- Choose Registry & Gift List, then search for the person or registry.
Amazon documents this general app route, but navigation can vary with app version, locale, or account state. If you don’t see those labels, use the app’s current menu search or try Amazon.com in a browser rather than relying on an alternate path that may not match your app.
What to do if the list doesn’t appear
Ask the owner to send you the list link or an invitation. A missing result does not necessarily mean the list was deleted: Amazon says Wish Lists stay private until the owner chooses to share them, and a registry may not be publicly discoverable. Amazon recommends requesting the direct link when a registry cannot be found because it is not public. Amazon’s Wish List guide explains sharing, and its baby registry guide covers requesting a link.

What list sharing shows
The list owner controls whether and with whom a list is shared. Amazon’s help page says a list display shows the owner’s name, city, and state associated with the address, but not the full street address in the list display. That is a narrow description of the list display, not a guarantee about every detail that may appear in all purchase or seller scenarios. See Amazon’s Create Your List help page for its explanation.
