Dubizzle Group postponed its planned Dubai Financial Market (DFM) IPO on 22 October 2025, before subscriptions were due to open. The company said it would assess the offering’s timing in the future and remain focused on growth in the UAE and expansion in Saudi Arabia. The announcement does not establish a global expansion plan or a new IPO timetable.

Is the Dubizzle IPO still happening?

The planned IPO is postponed, not completed. Dubizzle Group Holdings PLC announced its intention to list on the DFM on 13 October 2025, then announced the postponement on 22 October, one day before the scheduled subscription period was to begin. The company said it would assess the optimal timing in the future; its notice did not give a specific reason for the postponement. The original announcement and the postponement notice set out those dates and terms.

No newer DFM relaunch is established by the cited company announcements. The subscription dates and offer terms described in the 2025 prospectus are historical, not an open offer.

What were the proposed IPO terms?

The 13 October 2025 prospectus proposed an offer of 1,249,526,391 shares, equal to 30.34% of issued share capital. The offer included both newly issued shares and shares sold by existing shareholders, so it combined a primary issuance with a secondary sale. The prospectus described a public subscription for UAE investors only. These were proposed terms for the postponed offering, not shares that were subsequently listed or sold through an active subscription. The English prospectus cautioned that the shares involved a high degree of risk and that its Arabic version prevailed in case of discrepancy.

What does Dubizzle Group do, and where is it focused?

The group describes itself as a MENA digital classifieds marketplace. Its flagship platforms are dubizzle and Bayut, which connect private and business sellers with prospective buyers, particularly in real estate and automotive categories. The company also identifies general goods and other categories in its description of its platforms. Its IPO announcement describes reach across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and wider MENA.

The postponement notice specifically said the group remained focused on growing its UAE business and expanding in Saudi Arabia. It does not substantiate the broader “global expansion” framing in the original headline. Pakistani brothers Imran and Zeeshan Ali Khan founded Dubizzle Group in 2013, according to Business Recorder; that reported founder background should not be confused with the company’s base, incorporation or operating geography.

What figures did the company report about its platforms?

Dubizzle Group reported 54 million average monthly sessions and 18 million monthly active users for H1 2025 in its IPO materials. These are issuer-reported metrics, not independently measured figures in the cited sources. The company’s investor presentation provides the figures. CEO Imran Ali Khan also described the platforms as serving users across property, automotive, general goods and other categories in the IPO announcement; that is the company’s characterization, not an independent market assessment.

Does a 2026 SEC filing indicate a Dubizzle US offering?

No. A 2026 SEC F-1 filing surfaced in search results, but the registrant is Mao Shan Huang Holdings Limited, a different company. It is not evidence of a Dubizzle Group US offering or a new Dubizzle IPO. The cited official notices establish the 2025 DFM postponement, not a subsequent listing plan.
