DSSSB Advertisement No. 03/2025 invited applications for 334 tentative Delhi High Court attendant vacancies, but the application window is closed. Applications were accepted online from noon on 26 August 2025 until 11:59 p.m. on 24 September 2025. The notice covered five posts and set out shared basic education and age requirements, a Tier I written exam, and a possible interview.

What was the last date to apply?

The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) issued Advertisement No. 03/2025 on 14 August 2025 on behalf of the Delhi High Court. The application period opened at noon on 26 August 2025 and ended at 11:59 p.m. on 24 September 2025. The window has passed; this recruitment is not open for new applications.

Applications had to be submitted online through the DSSSB portal. Candidates first had to complete the portal’s one-time registration, then submit an application. One application covered the advertised posts. The notice warned that multiple registrations and appearing more than once could lead to cancellation and debarment. [DSSSB Advertisement No. 03/2025]

How many vacancies were advertised?

The advertisement listed 334 tentative vacancies across five posts. The figures below are the post-wise totals and category allocation published in the notice.

Post Vacancies
Court Attendant 295
Court Attendant (S) 22
Court Attendant (L) 1
Room Attendant (H) 13
Security Attendant 3
Total 334

The category-wise distribution across the advertised vacancies was UR 86, OBC 120, SC 23, ST 34 and EWS 71. The advertisement described the vacancies as tentative, so these figures should not be treated as a final appointment count. [DSSSB vacancy notice]

The notice’s extracted details do not establish distinct job duties for the letter-coded attendant roles. It provides shared basic qualification and age conditions, so the published vacancy count is the clearest supported basis for comparing the posts.

What qualification and age limit did the notice set?

  • Education: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board, or an ITI pass certificate from a recognized institute.
  • Age: 18 to 27 years as of 1 January 2025, subject to the relaxations specified in the advertisement.
  • Nationality: Indian citizens or subjects of Nepal under applicable Government of India instructions.

Eligibility dates differed by condition: age was assessed as of 1 January 2025, while education and experience were to be determined as of 24 September 2025. The notice listed no essential experience. It stated that candidates with specialized knowledge or experience in cooking, carpentry, electrical work, or driving with a valid licence would receive preference. [DSSSB eligibility and experience terms]

What were the pay level and application fee rules?

All five posts were listed as Group C, Level 3 under the 7th Central Pay Commission. Women candidates and candidates in the SC, ST, PwBD and Ex-serviceman categories were listed as exempt from the application fee. Fee payment was directed through SBI e-pay, and the notice said fees were non-refundable. [DSSSB pay and fee provisions]

What was the DSSSB Court Attendant exam pattern?

Tier I was an objective examination with 100 questions for 100 marks and a duration of 150 minutes. Hindi, English, General Knowledge and Arithmetic each carried 25 marks.

Tier I subject Marks
Hindi 25
English 25
General Knowledge 25
Arithmetic 25
Total 100

Each incorrect answer carried a penalty of 0.25 marks. DSSSB’s notice states: “There shall be 25% Negative Marking (i.e. deduction of 0.25 Mark for each wrong answer).” Minimum qualifying marks were 50 for UR candidates and 45 for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS, PH and ESM candidates. [DSSSB examination scheme and negative marking]

Interview and final merit

Candidates shortlisted after Tier I could be called for an interview worth 15 marks. The notice set no minimum qualifying interview score. Final merit was to combine Tier I and interview marks. [DSSSB selection process]

Where can candidates check for later updates?

The advertisement said later dates would be announced through the DSSSB and Delhi High Court websites. The notice alone does not establish whether an examination, interview, result or final panel has since been published. Anyone checking the recruitment’s later status should rely on subsequent official notices rather than infer it from the original application advertisement.
