Koodo has offered some customers plans priced at $60 per month for 100GB and $65 per month for 120GB, with Canada-U.S. roaming included. Those prices were reported in individual customer accounts, not confirmed as plans available to every subscriber. As of October 8, 2026, public reporting does not establish whether either offer is still available. Check your own Koodo Self Serve account and read the full plan description before changing plans.
What the $60 and $65 Koodo offers included
MobileSyrup reported on November 28, 2024 that a writer saw two upgrade options in their Koodo account: $60 per month for 100GB and $65 per month for 120GB, both described as 5G plans with Canada-U.S. roaming. The offers were observed in that customer’s account, rather than presented as a universally available Koodo rate card. MobileSyrup’s November 2024 report
iPhone in Canada reported on October 20, 2025 that a reader saw the same $60/100GB and $65/120GB Canada-U.S. options in their account. That reader had a $50/60GB plan and saw the offers after autopay. This is another account-specific report, not evidence of broad eligibility or a guarantee that the same price will appear for other customers. iPhone in Canada’s October 2025 report
How to check whether an offer is available to you
- Sign in to your Koodo Self Serve account.
- Open the plan-change or upgrade offers shown for your line.
- Compare the complete offer details, including the monthly price, data allowance, payment-discount conditions, and any eligibility or expiry terms.
- Before accepting, confirm whether the plan includes U.S. roaming and whether its data, talk, and text allowances apply in the U.S. as well as Canada.
The reported prices were tied to qualifying automatic payment methods—autopay or bank debit pre-authorized payments in the reports. Confirm the payment condition and the amount Koodo will actually bill you; do not assume the reported price applies without it. Your account may show different offers, and the public reports do not confirm that the exact offers remain available in October 2026.

Canada-U.S. calling is not the same as U.S. roaming
Read the plan wording carefully. A plan that includes calls from Canada to U.S. numbers does not necessarily let you use your phone while you are in the United States. In a September 19, 2026 Koodo Community exchange about a different plan, Official Rep Flo Koodo clarified: “This type of plan is different from the ones that include Canada-US roaming.” Koodo Community exchange, September 19, 2026
That exchange does not establish the roaming terms of the historical $60 or $65 offers. For any plan you are considering, look for explicit U.S. roaming terms and check which data, talk, and text usage is included while travelling. If the description only mentions Canada-to-U.S. calling, ask Koodo to clarify roaming before relying on it abroad.

What to verify before switching
- Price: Check the regular monthly charge and whether the displayed amount depends on autopay or another qualifying payment method.
- Data: Confirm the allowance and where it can be used. Do not infer that data works in the U.S. from a Canada-U.S. calling feature.
- Roaming: Look for explicit U.S. roaming coverage and the plan’s terms for using data, talk, and text outside Canada.
- Other terms: Review any plan-specific perks, eligibility limits, or offer expiry shown in your account.
What 5G access and speed depend on
Koodo says full 5G access requires a compatible 5G device, a 5G speed rate plan, and service in an area with 5G coverage. Coverage is approximate; actual service and speeds can vary with the device, its configuration, network traffic, surroundings, and other conditions. Koodo’s 5G guidance and network speed guidance
On May 29, 2026, Koodo announced speeds of up to 1 Gbps for new customers with compatible devices on Pick Your Perk plans. It said automatic speed upgrades for existing eligible customers were expected to be completed over the following six months. “Up to” is a maximum, not a promise of that speed everywhere or in every use; eligibility and real-world performance still matter.
