How to check eligibility before trading in
- Open GameStop’s trade page and find the listing that matches your exact console model.
- Review the current quote and whether it is store credit or cash. If you are a Pro member, check the Pro quote separately; the indexed amounts above distinguish regular and Pro store credit.
- Read the offer terms and confirm the console’s eligibility and condition requirements before traveling. GameStop says trade-ins are available only for select products at select stores in the United States and Guam.

Is trading in better than keeping or selling your Switch?

Is there a current Switch 2 bundle offer?
Nintendo’s official retail page showed a Switch 2 bundle offer ending September 26, 2026, a date that had passed by October 8, 2026; Nintendo also says retailer offer dates vary and stock is limited. Its indexed listing for a Switch 2 Sports Resort bundle showed a $529.99 MSRP, $27.98 in stated savings, and availability beginning October 22, 2026. That future availability date means the listing should not be described as available on October 8. Check Nintendo’s bundle listing for current availability and retailer terms.
