A May 26, 2026 TechBloat article claims Freedom Mobile revived a Friends and Family discount of $15 per month on eligible plans priced at $65 or more. Freedom’s official promotions page, reviewed October 8, 2026, does not confirm that offer. Treat the amount and eligibility threshold as unverified until Freedom confirms them directly.
Is the Freedom Mobile Friends and Family discount currently available?
Its current availability is not established by the official Freedom Mobile promotions and terms page reviewed on October 8, 2026. The $15 monthly credit and $65 plan threshold come from TechBloat’s May 26, 2026 article, not confirmed current terms from Freedom.
Freedom’s promotions are offer-specific. Eligibility rules, discount duration, and stacking restrictions for another promotion—or for an older Friends and Family offer—cannot be assumed to apply to this claimed offer. - Does eligibility depend on whether you are a new or existing customer, or on activating a line versus changing plans?
- Is a promo code or other referral required, and where must it be entered?
- How long does the credit last, and can it be combined with discounts already on the account?
- What will the total monthly bill be after the credit, including device financing, add-ons, and other charges?
These are points to verify with Freedom; the reviewed official material does not establish the answers for the claimed Friends and Family offer. Compare the final confirmed cost—not an assumed discounted price—against the plan’s data and roaming inclusions and any other costs.
Freedom’s separate Refer a Friend offer
Freedom’s official “How to add a line” page, accessed October 8, 2026, describes a different consumer offer: each person gets $25 off their bill, and a customer can refer up to 10 friends per year. That referral program is not evidence that the claimed Friends and Family monthly discount is available, and its terms should not be substituted for those of another promotion.
