Who qualifies for Max through DashPass?
DoorDash’s Max partnership FAQ says the included Max With Ads subscription is available to eligible DashPass Annual Plan members in the United States, including Puerto Rico. It is included with the annual membership at no additional cost.

How to activate Max with DashPass
- Sign in to the DoorDash account associated with your eligible annual DashPass membership.
- Open the Manage Max Subscription page in your account.
- Follow the on-screen enrollment steps for Max With Ads.
DoorDash directs members to that account page to enroll and manage the subscription. The offer is a digital subscription benefit; it does not require a particular TV, streaming stick, remote, or physical media item.

What does the free Max subscription include—and what costs extra?
The included tier is Max With Ads. Members who want the ad-free option can select a separate paid monthly upgrade through DoorDash and confirm its terms and recurring charge at signup.
At the time DoorDash’s FAQ was checked on October 8, 2026, it listed the Max Ad-Free upgrade at $10.99 per month plus applicable taxes. DoorDash says the then-current amount is disclosed during signup, so verify the price before accepting. The upgrade is billed directly by DoorDash. If you cancel it, DoorDash says it remains active through the current billing cycle; Max With Ads continues while the annual DashPass membership remains active.

DoorDash’s August 13, 2024 launch announcement described DashPass as $96 per year and called the included Max benefit a $240 annual value. Those were DoorDash’s promotional figures at launch, not verified current plan pricing or an independent valuation of Max.
