Existing subscribers are scheduled to see the increase in a billing cycle on or after October 21, 2026. The changes vary by plan: standalone ad-supported subscriptions rise by 50 cents a month, standalone ad-free subscriptions rise by $2.50, and some bundles do not change.
When does the Disney+ price increase start?
The new prices apply to new U.S. subscriptions beginning September 23, 2026. If you subscribed before that date, Disney says the new price will appear in a billing cycle on or after October 21, 2026. The exact charge date depends on your billing cycle. CBS News reported the effective dates, and Disney’s U.S. Help Center confirms the timing for existing subscribers.

Is Hulu going up too?
Yes. Hulu with ads rises from $11.99 to $12.49 per month, while Hulu Premium, the ad-free plan, rises from $18.99 to $21.49. Those are standalone U.S. plan prices; Hulu is also included in the bundles listed above.
What is the new Disney+ and Hulu bundle price?
The ad-supported Disney+ and Hulu bundle stays at $12.99 a month. The ad-free Disney+ and Hulu Premium bundle increases from $19.99 to $21.99 per month. That means the ad-supported bundle’s listed price does not change, while the ad-free bundle adds $2 monthly.

How do the ESPN bundle changes differ?
The listed ESPN Select bundles increase, but the ESPN Unlimited bundles remain at their previous prices. With ads, the Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN Select bundle rises from $19.99 to $21.99; the Select Premium version rises from $29.99 to $32.99. The ESPN Unlimited bundle with ads remains $35.99, and its Premium version remains $44.99 per month.

Check the service or billing partner that charges you and note the billing date: an existing subscriber’s first affected cycle is on or after October 21, 2026, rather than necessarily on that calendar day. Disney cautions that prices can vary when subscriptions are billed through third-party partners, including because of platform limitations and country-specific pricing. Its pricing page is specific to the United States, so these figures should not be assumed to apply internationally. Disney’s Help Center pricing and billing information provides the official qualification.
