Where did Dion for Brides move?
The bridal retailer’s new address is 121 Hay Street, Subiaco WA 6008. Dion for Brides announced on June 13, 2024, that the move would take effect July 2. PerthNow reported on July 16 that the move from North Perth had taken place earlier that month. Dion for Brides’ announcement and PerthNow’s July 2024 report document the relocation.
PerthNow said the business had operated in North Perth for 30 years before relocating. Separately, the retailer describes itself as having more than 30 years of bridal-industry experience; those are distinct claims, not interchangeable measures of time at one address.
What changed in the Subiaco showroom?
PerthNow described the new showroom as more spacious and luxurious than the former premises, and reported that it includes a private suite for brides seeking a more private appointment. Owner Lisa Selman told PerthNow that the move was intended to provide a “more modern, tailored experience for Perth brides.” That is the owner’s stated aim, not an independently measured customer outcome.

In a July 2024 post, Dion for Brides described spacious fitting rooms, full-length mirrors, soft lighting and seating for guests. The retailer presented these as features of the new appointment setting. Selman also said the showroom “enhances each appointment,” a promotional assessment attributed to her.
What did the store carry, and what did gowns cost?
PerthNow reported in July 2024 that Dion for Brides carried Galia Lahav gowns priced from $8,000 to $30,000 at that time. That is a historical range, not current price guidance; gown availability and pricing can change. Check directly with the boutique for its present designers, collection and prices.

In a July 17, 2025 article, the City of Subiaco described five bridal shops operating in the suburb at the time: Dion for Brides, Archela Bridal, Envious Bridal, Zolotas Bridal and JULIET studio. The City said JULIET studio had opened in May 2025. This is a dated snapshot, not a current count or a ranking of the shops.
