Did Four AI Models Pick XRP Over Pi Network? What the Q1 2026 Forecast Really Says

Four AI systems were reportedly said to favor XRP over PI for Q1 2026. The forecast window has passed, and the available report does not show enough detail to reproduce its comparison.

TechJuice reported that ChatGPT, Grok, Gemini, and Perplexity favored XRP over Pi Network’s PI token for the first quarter of 2026, crediting the analysis to CryptoPotato. That forecast period has ended, and the available report does not provide enough detail to reproduce the exercise. It is not evidence that XRP is the better investment now.

What did the four AI models reportedly choose?

According to TechJuice’s report, all four named systems favored XRP for Q1 2026. The report cited liquidity, adoption, regulatory footing, and ecosystem developments as reasons for the preference. Those are claims reported by TechJuice about the analysis, not independently verified current comparisons.

The timeframe matters: Q1 2026 is over. A forecast for that quarter cannot answer which token is more attractive today, nor does the reported preference show which asset actually performed better during the period.

Can the reported AI consensus be checked?

Not from the available reporting. It identifies ChatGPT, Grok, Gemini, and Perplexity and credits CryptoPotato with the analysis, but does not provide the exact prompts, model versions, full outputs, date of the runs, or a scoring method. Without those records, readers cannot repeat the comparison or assess whether the systems were given equivalent information.

“Unanimous” therefore describes the result as TechJuice reported it; it should not be read as four independent, controlled investment analyses. AI outputs are sensitive to prompt wording, model version, and the information available at the time. Agreement among four systems, without a reproducible method, is not a substitute for evaluating the assets or their risks.

What roles do XRP and PI have in their networks?

Asset Documented network role Protocol fee information
XRP The XRP Ledger documentation describes XRP as the ledger’s native asset. Transactions destroy a small amount of XRP to help protect the peer-to-peer network from spam. The documentation states a standard minimum transaction cost of 10 drops. The actual cost can rise with network load. XRPL documentation
PI Pi Network’s MiCA whitepaper describes PI as its native digital asset for peer-to-peer transactions, decentralized applications, and community-driven economic activity. The 2025 whitepaper states a gas fee of 0.01 PI. This is the project’s stated design, not evidence of adoption or investment value. Pi Network whitepaper

These descriptions explain intended network functions, not how widely either asset is used or whether either is likely to appreciate. The fee figures also are not directly comparable measures of investment value: they are denominated in different tokens and describe protocol costs.

What would a current XRP-versus-PI comparison need?

A sound comparison depends on the reader’s time horizon and on matched, dated evidence. The reported AI forecast does not supply that evidence. Before treating either asset as a current investment candidate, assess:

  • Adoption and activity: Look for comparable measures of actual network use, rather than relying on project descriptions or broad claims about adoption.
  • Liquidity and access: Check current trading depth and exchange availability for the places where you can legally trade. Availability can differ by platform and jurisdiction.
  • Supply and unlocks: Review how much of each asset is circulating and what future distribution or unlocks could mean for supply.
  • Regulatory status: Verify current rules and legal developments in your jurisdiction using relevant official sources; status can vary by location and change over time.
  • Risk and time horizon: Decide what loss you could tolerate and whether the investment case depends on near-term trading or longer-term network use.

The available reporting does not establish current prices, matched liquidity, exchange access, supply dynamics, or regulatory status for both assets. Those facts are necessary for a present-day investment comparison, so no current winner can be substantiated from the reported forecast.

How should an investor use the headline?

Treat it as a report about what four AI systems were said to forecast for a past quarter—not as a buy signal. If you are considering either token, verify current market and legal information independently, examine the project’s documented function separately from its investment case, and do not invest money you cannot afford to lose. A model’s stated preference does not remove the possibility of substantial loss.
