Delta’s 14-route expansion was a 2025 announcement, not confirmation of service operating today. Reports published May 2, 2025 listed seven seasonal Saturday routes to Orlando, one seasonal Austin–Palm Springs route, five daily routes planned for September, and daily LaGuardia–Northwest Florida Beaches service planned for November. Those launch dates have passed, and the reports do not verify current schedules or booking availability.
What routes were included in Delta’s 2025 announcement?
The 14 routes reported by Aviation A2Z and The Bulkhead Seat fall into three groups: eight seasonal Saturday routes, five daily routes planned to start in September 2025, and two routes planned to start in November 2025.
Seasonal Saturday service to Orlando
The reports listed seven routes planned to operate Saturdays from December 20, 2025, through April 11, 2026:
- Columbus (CMH)–Orlando (MCO)
- Grand Rapids (GRR)–Orlando (MCO)
- Indianapolis (IND)–Orlando (MCO)
- Kansas City (MCI)–Orlando (MCO)
- Louisville (SDF)–Orlando (MCO)
- Nashville (BNA)–Orlando (MCO)
- Pittsburgh (PIT)–Orlando (MCO)
Aviation A2Z reported that the Orlando flights were planned to use regional jets operated by Delta Connection partners. That is a description of the announced plan, not evidence of aircraft or service on current schedules.

- Little Rock (LIT)–Salt Lake City (SLC)
- Westchester County (HPN)–Minneapolis–St. Paul (MSP)
- New York–JFK–Houston (IAH)

Why do reports differ on the number of daily routes?
The Bulkhead Seat’s introductory text says four daily routes, but its route list contains five. Aviation A2Z describes five daily routes planned for September, and both reports’ enumerated routes support five September services. Counting the separately listed daily LGA–ECP route yields six routes described as daily across the full announcement, not five.
The discrepancy is in the prose count, not in the listed route names. The 14-route total follows the enumerated groups: eight seasonal Saturday routes and six routes described as daily.

Can travelers book these routes now?
The planned start and end dates are historical. Neither May 2025 report establishes that any route is operating now, and the sources do not provide current fares, seat availability, or schedule status. Check Delta’s current booking results or timetable for the specific airports and travel dates before making plans; the announcement alone is not a basis for assuming a flight is available.

The two reports identify the route additions and planned service patterns, but they do not include an original Delta statement explaining the business rationale for this expansion. Aviation A2Z includes a Delta executive quote about college-football travel, but that quote concerns game travel rather than these 14 route additions, so it does not establish why Delta planned these services.
