What the comparison means
This is a comparison of domestic weekend grosses, not worldwide totals or lifetime earnings. Deadpool & Wolverine was a holdover in its fifth weekend, while Blink Twice and The Crow were opening. The first-place film’s weekend gross was greater than either new release’s opening gross.
The Numbers also listed Deadpool & Wolverine with a cumulative domestic gross of $577,213,606 after 31 days in release. That running total is a different measure from the three-day weekend amounts above.
