Verdict: DAX-300 should be avoided. The broker was the subject of an official warning from Austria’s Financial Market Authority (FMA), while Italy’s CONSOB ordered associated companies to stop offering unauthorized investment services to the Italian public. Its website is currently reported as inaccessible, and there is no reliable evidence of active financial supervision.
That makes DAX-300 an unauthorized, high-risk offshore broker—not a legitimate regulated brokerage. The available evidence supports treating it as unsafe, although the regulator notices alone do not amount to a criminal fraud conviction.
What is DAX-300?
DAX-300 was an online forex and CFD brand associated with ELRICS Brothers Ltd. The company listed its address as Suite 305, Griffith Corporate Centre, Beachmont, Kingstown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Historical contact details included:
- Website:
www.dax-300.com - Email:
[email protected] - Telephone:

Older broker profiles described forex pairs and CFDs on indices, commodities, shares, and cryptocurrencies, reportedly using MetaTrader 4. Those were historical offerings and should not be treated as current products because the official website is no longer normally accessible.

DAX-300 regulatory status
Austria issued an official warning
On September 6, 2019, Austria’s Financial Market Authority published an investor warning naming DAX-300 and ELRICS Brothers Ltd. The FMA stated that the provider was not entitled to conduct banking transactions in Austria that required a licence and was therefore not permitted to operate commercially under the cited Austrian Banking Act provision.
This is materially different from a negative customer review. It is an official regulator’s finding that the provider lacked the authorization required for the relevant activities in Austria. Read the FMA warning.
Italy ordered the activity to stop
Italy’s securities regulator, CONSOB, identified ELRICS Brothers Ltd and Sanata Partners Eood in connection with www.dax-300.com. CONSOB Resolution No. 20669, dated November 6, 2018, ordered the companies to cease offering investment services and activities to the Italian public without authorization.
The order concerned an infringement of Article 18 of Italy’s Consolidated Law on Finance. A copy of the notice is available through Norway’s Finanstilsynet.
What the warnings prove—and what they do not
The Austrian and Italian actions establish that DAX-300 and its associated companies were considered unauthorized to provide the relevant services in those jurisdictions. They do not, by themselves, prove that every customer transaction was fraudulent or establish a criminal conviction.
That distinction does not make the broker safe. An offshore entity with official regulatory warnings, no demonstrated active licence, and an inaccessible website fails the basic verification test a retail investor should apply before depositing money.
Is DAX-300 regulated in St. Vincent and the Grenadines?
No reliable evidence supports that claim. St. Vincent and the Grenadines was the company’s stated corporate location, but a corporate domicile is not the same as authorization to provide forex or CFD services.

Historical broker research classified DAX-300 as offshore and found no licence from a respected financial regulator. Current broker-monitoring information likewise reports that no forex trading licence was found.

To verify a broker’s regulatory claim, check the regulator’s own register and match all of the following:
- The exact legal entity name
- The domain used to solicit customers
- The licence or reference number
- The specific permission to offer forex, CFDs, or investment services
A company-registration entry cannot substitute for a financial-services licence.
Is the DAX-300 website still operating?
As of August 8, 2026, www.dax-300.com is reported as inaccessible or inactive. One review recorded a Cloudflare Error 521, meaning Cloudflare could not connect to the site’s origin server. A June 18, 2026 update from WikiFX also described the official website as inaccessible.
An unavailable website does not independently prove fraud. It does, however, prevent prospective and existing customers from reliably checking current terms, ownership information, withdrawal rules, complaint procedures, and regulatory disclosures.

Historical DAX-300 account terms
Reviews published between 2018 and 2019 reported the following advertised conditions:
Rank #3
| Account | Minimum deposit | Maximum leverage | Reported spread |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | €250 | 1:100 | Fixed 3 pips |
| Gold | €5,000 | 1:200 | Fixed 2 pips |
| Platinum | €20,000 | 1:400 | Fixed 1.5 pips |
These are historical advertised terms only. They are not verified current conditions. Historical reviews also stated that the broker offered MetaTrader 4.
Historical pricing inconsistency
A 2018 test found that the advertised Standard-account spread was a fixed 3 pips, while the reviewer observed an approximately 1.6-pip floating EUR/USD spread on a demo MetaTrader 4 account.
A difference between demo pricing and the advertised live-account terms is a warning sign because demo results may not represent the conditions a customer receives after depositing. This observation is historical and does not establish the broker’s current pricing.
Reported withdrawal restrictions
A 2019 review described several unusual conditions in DAX-300’s historical materials:
- Money placed in certain “Algo trading” accounts reportedly could not be withdrawn during the first six months after deposit.
- Bonus withdrawals reportedly required trading 3.3 lots for every $10 of bonus money.
- The reported minimum deposit was $250.
Because the website is inaccessible, these terms cannot currently be checked against a live customer agreement. They should not be presented as current contractual conditions. If a broker restricts withdrawals through complex bonus or lock-in rules, read the full terms before depositing—and preferably choose a different broker.
Was DAX-300 a market maker?
A historical review quoted DAX-300’s terms as saying contracts were entered into by DAX-300 “as principal.” The reviewer interpreted this as indicating a market-maker model, in which the broker could act as the counterparty to customer trades.

Regulated brokers can act as principals or internalize some customer flow. The concern here was the combination of that business model with offshore status, inconsistent historical pricing observations, and the absence of recognized regulatory supervision.

Customer complaints and reported problems
Online complaints are not independently verified evidence. They are still useful for identifying recurring risk patterns.
At the time of the indexed page, Trustpilot showed 16 DAX-300 reviews, with 94% rated one star and a displayed TrustScore of 1.8 out of 5. Several reviewers alleged that deposits were accepted but withdrawals were blocked or ignored.
Forex Peace Army recorded one user alleging that account access and withdrawals were no longer available. Another user described aggressive and insulting telephone calls after declining to open an account. A historical review also reproduced a complaint alleging that a bonus could not be withdrawn and that a withdrawal request received no response.
These reports point to the following alleged failure modes:
- Withdrawal delays or non-payment
- Loss of account access
- Unresponsive customer support
- Bonus-related withdrawal restrictions
- Aggressive cold calling
Individual complaints should be assessed using transaction records, emails, account statements, and payment evidence. Taken together with the official regulatory warnings, however, they substantially worsen DAX-300’s risk profile.

“DAX-300 is regulated in SVG”
Unsupported. The St. Vincent and the Grenadines address identifies a corporate location, not a verified forex or CFD licence. The Austrian FMA warning and CONSOB action are more relevant evidence of the company’s authorization status.
“DAX-300 is safe because it uses MetaTrader 4”
Wrong. MetaTrader 4 is trading software, not a regulator. Platform access does not verify who owns the broker, where customer money is held, whether prices are reliable, or whether withdrawals will be processed.
“A positive broker-review page proves legitimacy”
Wrong. Some older review pages described DAX-300 as safe or listed “SVG” under regulators without providing a verifiable licence number. Those claims conflict with the official FMA warning and CONSOB order.
“The broker is still operating because the domain exists”
Unproven. Domain registration, cached pages, or a surviving trading server do not establish lawful operation or prove that customer withdrawals are being honoured. Current monitoring reports describe the website as inaccessible.
What to do if you deposited money with DAX-300
- Stop sending money. Do not pay alleged taxes, release fees, verification charges, or additional deposits to unlock a withdrawal.
- Contact your payment provider immediately. Ask whether a card chargeback, bank recall, or payment dispute is available. Time limits can apply.
- Preserve evidence. Save account screenshots, wallet addresses, transaction IDs, bank records, emails, phone numbers, and chat messages.
- Report the matter. Contact your national financial regulator, police or cybercrime reporting service, and the relevant payment institution.
- Be cautious of recovery scams. Anyone promising guaranteed recovery for an upfront fee may be targeting victims of the original loss.
FAQ
Is DAX-300 a legitimate broker?
No. DAX-300 should not be treated as a legitimate regulated broker. Austria’s FMA warned that it was not authorized for licensable banking transactions in Austria, and Italy’s CONSOB ordered associated companies to stop unauthorized investment activity aimed at the Italian public.
Is DAX-300 a confirmed scam?
The available regulator notices do not constitute a criminal conviction or prove that every transaction was fraudulent. However, they do establish unauthorized activity in Austria and Italy. Combined with the inaccessible website and reported withdrawal complaints, the broker should be treated as unsafe and avoided.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Does DAX-300 have a forex licence?
There is no reliable evidence of an active forex or CFD licence from a recognized financial regulator. Its St. Vincent and the Grenadines address is not proof of financial-services authorization.
Can I withdraw money from DAX-300?
The website is currently reported as inaccessible, so current withdrawal procedures cannot be verified. If you have funds there, stop sending additional money and contact your bank, card issuer, or payment provider promptly about dispute or chargeback options.
Is MetaTrader 4 proof that DAX-300 is safe?
No. MetaTrader 4 is software that can be used by both regulated and unregulated firms. It does not verify the broker’s licence, custody arrangements, pricing, or withdrawal practices.
The Bottom Line
DAX-300 is not a legitimate regulated broker and should be avoided. The FMA issued an official warning, CONSOB ordered associated companies to stop unauthorized investment activity in Italy, and the broker’s website is currently inaccessible. Its offshore address and historical MetaTrader 4 offering do not offset those risks.
