Cyberhaven announced an $88 million Series C on June 11, 2024, led by Adams Street Partners and Khosla Ventures. SecurityWeek reported that the round valued the company at $488 million. That figure describes the 2024 financing, not Cyberhaven’s latest disclosed valuation: in April 2025, the company announced a Series D at a $1 billion valuation.

How much did Cyberhaven raise, and who invested?

The company announced the $88 million Series C on June 11, 2024. Adams Street Partners and Khosla Ventures led the round. Redpoint Ventures, Costanoa Ventures, Vertex Ventures, Crane Venture Partners, and Wing Venture Capital also participated, alongside security leaders. Cyberhaven’s announcement confirmed the financing amount and investors.

What did the $488 million valuation mean?

SecurityWeek reported on June 12, 2024, that the financing valued Cyberhaven at $488 million and brought its total funding to $136 million. Cyberhaven’s own June 11 announcement did not state a valuation, so the $488 million figure should be attributed to SecurityWeek and tied to the 2024 round.

A private-company financing valuation is not a public share price, nor does it guarantee that investors or employees can sell shares at that value. It is a reported figure associated with a particular financing, not a standing price available to the public.

What changed after the 2024 round?

On April 2, 2025, Cyberhaven announced a $100 million Series D led by StepStone Group and said the financing valued the company at $1 billion. The $488 million figure is therefore historical, not the company’s latest disclosed valuation in the announcements covered here.

What did Cyberhaven say it would do with the money?

Cyberhaven said proceeds would support product expansion and broader market reach. In 2024, it described its offering as a data detection and response platform built around data lineage and protection as information moves across cloud services, devices, the web, email, messaging, and generative AI services. Those are the company’s descriptions of its product and strategy, not independent findings about product performance.

The June 2024 announcement also reported 200 percent growth in new bookings — Cyberhaven, 2024. The company did not define the measurement or provide independent verification alongside that figure.
