The CTET July 2024 application correction window ran from 8 April through 12 April 2024. It is closed; the headline’s “today” referred to the original publication date, 12 April 2024. Applicants cannot now edit those July 2024 forms through that facility.
When did the CTET July 2024 correction window close?
CBSE opened the online correction facility on 8 April 2024 and set 12 April 2024 as the final day. Its notice said, “No corrections shall be allowed under any circumstances after this date.” That deadline applied to the July 2024 examination cycle, not to later CTET editions. What could candidates correct?
CBSE’s notice broadly permitted changes to candidate particulars, course selection and examination city during the open period. The CTET July 2024 Information Bulletin listed these editable details:
- Candidate’s name, father’s name and mother’s name
- Date of birth
- Category and disability category
- Choice of Paper I or Paper II, subject to city capacity
- Paper II subject
- Language I and/or Language II
- Correspondence address
- Name of the institution, college or university where the candidate obtained the listed B.Ed. degree or Diploma in Elementary Education
How did the correction facility work?
Corrections had to be submitted online through the CTET website during the announced period. The bulletin said the facility was available only once. CBSE would not accept correction requests by fax, application or email, or accept requests after the online correction date.

Is a CTET correction window open now?
No. The July 2024 facility is historical and closed. To check whether a correction window is available for a later examination, consult the official CTET public notices and verify that the notice names your exam edition. A deadline for one CTET cycle does not establish the dates for another.
