The CTET December 2024 application correction window is closed. Scroll reported on October 21, 2024, that candidates could correct eligible form details through October 25, 2024. The old session login page is still listed on the official CTET website, but that does not mean the correction facility is active.

Can you still edit a CTET December 2024 application?

No. The reported deadline was October 25, 2024, so candidates can no longer use that correction period. Scroll’s October 21, 2024 report gave the deadline and directed applicants to the CTET homepage, then to “Correction Window: CTET Dec-2024,” and finally to login: Scroll’s contemporaneous correction-window report.

The report is historical. The correction-form URL it referenced has not been verified as working now, so it should not be treated as a current direct link.

Which CTET link should you use?

For the old December 2024 session

The official CTET December 2024 session page, published December 6, 2024, links to “Login: CTET DEC24.” It is a session login page, not confirmation that candidates can still change their applications.

For notices about a current session

Check the official CTET public notices for the session you are applying to. The current notices page includes later-session material, including notices from 2026. Use the notice for your own session rather than relying on a historical correction-window link.

What could candidates change during the 2024 correction period?

The official CTET December 2024 information bulletin described a one-time online correction facility during a period announced on the CTET website. It said offline requests would not be accepted and excluded the examination city from the stated correction facility. The bulletin’s list of particulars included:

  • Candidate name and parents’ names
  • Date of birth
  • Category and differently abled category
  • Paper opted for—Paper I or Paper II, subject to city capacity
  • Paper II subject
  • Language I and/or Language II
  • Correspondence address
  • Institution, college or university details for teacher-training qualifications

The bulletin describes the general facility; it does not establish that every requested change would necessarily be accepted in every case.

Where to check official CTET information

The CTET official documents archive lists the December 2024 information bulletin and a revised public notice dated October 9, 2024. The notice identified December 14, 2024, as the revised examination date. For future-session eligibility and syllabus information, the CTET homepage identifies CBSE as the exam authority and directs candidates to the information bulletin; it also advises using authentic textbooks and the syllabus suggested by NCTE.
