BlockDAG’s presale status is unclear, and its widely repeated fundraising figures are not independently audited in the available sources. The project presents BDAG as part of a proof-of-work blockchain using a directed acyclic graph (DAG), alongside consumer mining hardware. But claims about the network, sale proceeds and miner shipments should be treated as project statements—not proof of performance or investor returns.
As of October 8, 2026, BlockDAG’s pages and an independent historical review give conflicting signals about whether its sale is still open. A historical market decline reported by Icomonitor also illustrates why a presale price or advertised listing expectation is not a reliable guide to gains.
What is BlockDAG Network (BDAG)?
BlockDAG describes itself as a proof-of-work Layer 1 blockchain that uses a directed acyclic graph structure. The project’s pitch also includes EVM-related ambitions and physical miners intended to broaden participation. In broad terms, a DAG design aims to allow blocks to be handled in parallel rather than relying only on a single chain of blocks.
Those descriptions explain the proposition, not whether the network achieves its intended performance. The available sources do not independently validate BlockDAG’s technical claims, network use, user counts or token demand. The holder, miner, app-user and community figures displayed on the project’s site are project-reported statistics, not independently confirmed measurements.

Is BlockDAG’s presale still open?
The status is unresolved in the available information as of October 8, 2026. BlockDAG’s network homepage displayed “Join the Presale,” described an aftersale and said BDAG was live across global exchanges. Its FAQ also listed reaching a $600 million presale target as a milestone and said no additional public rounds would be available after the aftersale.
In contrast, Icomonitor’s 2026 historical review characterizes the presale as ended. It says a project development release gave January 26, 2026 as the conclusion date, while support material referred to February 10; the review places mainnet/TGE reporting in February. The conflicting dates and live-sounding project pages do not establish that a sale is currently available. A page that still displays a purchase prompt is not, by itself, confirmation that a round is open or that a payment route is valid.

Anyone considering a transaction should verify sale status and the exact purchase or claim process through confirmed official channels, independently of links or wallet addresses in unsolicited messages. Do not assume a historical presale price remains available or represents a current market value.
How much did BlockDAG raise?
Icomonitor summarizes campaign materials and aggregators as reporting about $442 million to more than $452 million. It explicitly cautions that such figures are not necessarily independently audited. Treat this as a reported campaign range, not a confirmed total of money received. The sources available here do not provide independently reconciled presale proceeds.

The project’s stated $600 million target is a target, not evidence that the amount was raised. Nor do a fundraising headline, a token allocation wallet list or project-reported user counts establish how funds were managed, what buyers received, or whether there is sustained demand for BDAG.
What do the audit claims cover?
BlockDAG’s security page says an internal review and a Halborn assessment of the treasury and vesting smart contracts were completed, and marks a CertiK review as completed. These are project descriptions of contract-level review. They do not, on their own, establish that the entire blockchain, tokenomics, sale proceeds or every system connected to the project is secure.

The same page says a full-scale third-party audit of the blockchain would begin after testnet beta. Its wording is prospective: “Following the beta release of our testnet, we will initiate a full-scale, third-party audit of the entire BlockDAG blockchain.” The page lists intended areas including protocol, nodes, contracts, cryptography, storage, tokenomics, governance, cross-chain security, performance and incident response. The available information does not demonstrate that this comprehensive audit has since been completed.

The project’s FAQ names the X10, X30 and X100 miners and says physical-miner shipments have begun. It also describes mobile-app mining, staking, a planned Super App and payment cards as part of its ecosystem. These statements help explain the project’s product pitch; they are not independent evidence that a particular order shipped, that a device performs as advertised, or that mining produces a profit.

The available sources do not verify shipment fulfillment, independent device testing or the current availability of those models. Before treating a miner as an investment, a buyer would need evidence about delivery, operating costs, expected rewards, resale value and the conditions required to use it. A device purchase and a BDAG token purchase are separate risks.
What does the reported post-launch decline mean?
Icomonitor summarizes a LBank historical review as reporting an approximately 99.94% decline after a speculative peak in March 2026. That figure is LBank’s reported historical account as relayed by Icomonitor; it has not been independently reconstructed here. It is not a forecast of future prices, but it is a warning against treating presale pricing or promotional listing expectations as evidence of likely gains.
A project can deliver some products or software while its token loses substantial value. Likewise, a short-lived price spike does not prove durable use, sound treasury management or a reliable market. The available sources do not establish independently reconciled current BDAG pricing or liquidity, on-chain token distribution, or realized investor returns.
What to check before risking money
Presale participation can involve losing the full amount committed. A more useful assessment separates claims that can be checked from plans and promotional figures:
- Sale and token status: Confirm whether a sale is actually open, which token and contract are involved, and whether the stated claim or vesting process applies to your purchase. Treat conflicting dates and stale page prompts as reasons to pause.
- Proceeds and accountability: Look for independently reconciled fundraising figures, clear treasury reporting and explanations of token allocations. Campaign totals alone do not establish what was received or how it was used.
- Security scope: Identify which contracts were reviewed, by whom and when. Do not treat a treasury or vesting contract assessment as a full-chain audit.
- Delivered versus planned functions: Distinguish operational network features and verified usage from roadmap items, app claims and future products. Seek independently measurable activity rather than relying only on project-reported counts.
- Token economics and exit conditions: Check supply, unlocks, vesting, liquidity and the practical ability to sell. A quoted listing price does not guarantee a market price or that buyers can exit at that level.
- Hardware evidence: For a miner, verify the specific model, fulfillment terms, independent performance evidence and costs. Do not assume advertised mining rewards or shipment claims translate into net earnings.
These checks do not remove the risks. They help distinguish a documented result from a marketing statement, an incomplete plan or a number that cannot be independently confirmed.
