SHIB at $0.001 and Dogecoin (DOGE) at $10 are hypothetical targets, not established predictions. The useful first check is the implied market capitalization: price multiplied by circulating supply. That arithmetic makes the scale of each target visible, but it cannot show whether buyers, liquidity or adoption will support it. The headline’s “new trending altcoin” is not named, so its claimed similarity cannot be assessed.
What would SHIB at $0.001 imply?
Coin Bureau’s reviewed analysis says a SHIB price of $0.001 would imply a market capitalization of roughly $589 billion using the supply basis in that analysis. That is an attributed valuation calculation, not a forecast or probability. Market capitalization is calculated as token price multiplied by circulating supply. A low price per token does not by itself mean a coin is inexpensive relative to its potential value: the number of tokens matters. Supply can also change, so a calculation is tied to its supply snapshot and assumptions.
What would DOGE at $10 imply?
Benzinga’s December 4, 2025 calculation used a circulating supply of 161.6 billion DOGE. At $10 per coin, that supply would imply a market capitalization of about $1.62 trillion. Supply snapshots differ by date. PrimeXBT’s October 8, 2026 live-data snapshot listed 171,945,273,126 DOGE in circulation. That later figure would produce a different implied value at $10; it should not be silently combined with Benzinga’s December 2025 estimate. Neither calculation establishes that the market could sustain the target.
Why the same $10 target means something different for SHIB
Using roughly 589 trillion SHIB, Benzinga estimated that a $10 token price would imply about $5.89 quadrillion in market capitalization. Under that article’s assumptions, supply would have to fall by more than 99.999% for the target to become mathematically viable on a scale comparable with the cited valuation context. This is arithmetic, not evidence that such a reduction or price will occur. Benzinga said SHIB burns remained insufficient to materially offset the large supply it cited.

The Crypto Basic modeled conditional SHIB values using two different assumptions. These are outputs from a hypothetical scenario published March 5, 2026, not independent predictions:

Can the “new trending altcoin” be evaluated?
No. The headline does not identify the asset, and no information supplied with it establishes which coin is meant or what “similar success” would measure. Without a name, a dated price or supply basis, and a defined comparison, claims about its prospects cannot be checked. It would be misleading to guess the coin or imply that its trajectory can be inferred from DOGE or SHIB.
