Costco’s 2026 sparkling-protein launch is Clean Simple Eats Frosted Lemonade Clear Protein Soda: a ready-to-drink, carbonated beverage with 20 grams of protein, zero sugar and 90 calories per can, according to the companies’ launch announcements. It rolled out to 100 U.S. Costco stores and Costco.com beginning May 13, 2026; that launch does not mean it is currently stocked at every warehouse.
What is Costco’s sparkling protein drink?
It is Clean Simple Eats Frosted Lemonade Clear Protein Soda, a canned carbonated drink made with grass-fed whey protein isolate. Clean Simple Eats and ingredient supplier Compound Solutions describe the product as a sparkling ready-to-drink alternative to mixing protein powder in a shaker.
The launch announcements list the following per-can nutrition figures:
- Protein: 20 grams
- Sugar: 0 grams
- Calories: 90
- Protein source: grass-fed whey protein isolate
These are figures stated by the companies, not results from independent testing. The releases identify the flavor as Frosted Lemonade; they do not establish how it tastes or feels to drink.

Where and when was it available at Costco?
Clean Simple Eats announced that the drink began appearing on May 13, 2026, at 100 Costco stores and on Costco.com. The company said it hoped to expand to all Costco warehouses, but the June 9, 2026 announcement confirming the launch did not give a newer store count. Neither announcement establishes current inventory or price.
Check Costco.com or contact your local warehouse before making a trip. A launch in selected stores is not confirmation that a particular warehouse has it now, and assortment and pricing can vary by location.

Costco’s U.S. catalog also includes conventional ready-to-drink protein drinks from Fairlife, Orgain, Premier, Nurri and Huel.
