Convergix Automation Solutions, an industrial automation company, announced the Holland facility as an expansion of its Michigan operations. The company says the site will be its fourth Michigan location, alongside locations it identifies as Bridgman, Lakeshore, and Auburn Hills. Convergix’s September 29, 2026 announcement describes its work as automation, integration, and advanced manufacturing solutions. WGVU describes the business as providing custom automated machinery, robotic systems, and factory integration technology. WGVU’s October 6 report refers to operations in Bridgman and St. Joseph; those place names differ from the company’s list, so they should not be treated as interchangeable.

How many jobs will the expansion create?
WGVU estimates that the expansion will add 40 to 70 jobs. That is a media-reported projection, not a hiring figure confirmed in Convergix’s announcement. The company says it expects additional career opportunities as the facility ramps up, but gives no numeric total in its release.
Convergix’s company LinkedIn profile says it plans to grow the Holland team to 40 or more employees in 2027. That refers to the planned size of the team, not the number of new jobs to be added, so it cannot be combined with WGVU’s estimate of 40 to 70 additional jobs. The company profile does not resolve the difference between those measures.

When is the Holland facility expected to open?
WGVU reports that production is expected to begin in December 2026. Convergix’s September 29 announcement says the site is planned to come online over the coming months but does not name a calendar month. Both timelines are projections, not confirmation that the facility is already operating.

Convergix says the facility will increase capacity to support customers, accommodate growth, and create future opportunities. Sam Gooding, president of Convergix Industrial Solutions, said in the company announcement: “Demand for our solutions is growing, and this expansion gives us the capacity to serve our customers while creating new opportunities across our organization.” The statement reflects the company’s explanation for the project, not independent verification of demand or hiring totals.
