How the claim and credit timing work
- Configure an eligible server and check whether the current offer and credit amount are displayed.
- Place the qualifying order, then submit the credit claim. Contabo’s terms allow up to 30 days after server provisioning to claim it.
- If approved, the credit is added to your Contabo account balance no earlier than 14 days after provisioning.
The terms require at least one month of service and allow credit for new services, renewals, and extra add-ons. The balance credit cannot be withdrawn as cash, so it reduces eligible future charges rather than reimbursing your payment to a bank account.
How to compare Contabo’s displayed US Core VPS prices
Contabo’s US-facing pricing page, surfaced October 8, 2026, lists these Core VPS prices with a 24-month term. They are not universal quotes: regional pricing, terms, configuration, and checkout totals can differ.

These are Contabo-published listing figures, not an independent price comparison or a guarantee of the amount shown for your location. Check the full checkout total and billing commitment, rather than multiplying a displayed monthly rate by a presumed term or assuming a coupon applies.
What to check beyond the monthly rate
- Compute: compare vCPU allocation with the workload; dedicated or virtual dedicated cores are a different offering from the listed Core VPS configurations.
- Memory and storage: check RAM and capacity, and whether storage is SSD or NVMe on the specific plan.
- Networking: compare port speed and the traffic terms shown for the selected service. Contabo states that incoming traffic is unlimited and unmetered for the listed server families, while reserving the right to throttle usage it considers exceptionally high or disruptive to fair network performance.
- Location and commitment: check the server region and the initial billing term attached to your selected configuration.
- Final price: review taxes, recurring charges, add-ons, any applicable promotion, and the total due at checkout.
Contabo also lists performance VPS, virtual dedicated servers, storage VPS, and dedicated servers. Their resource configurations and prices differ, so compare the actual configuration rather than assuming the Core VPS figures apply across product families.

Affiliate links, referrals, and reselling are different from coupons
Contabo says it offers an affiliate program through Commission Junction and, for Germany, Awin. It also says it has no internal customer-referral program that gives free months or financial rewards directly to a customer account. An affiliate commission is paid under program rules to an approved publisher; it is not a buyer discount.
On its affiliate page, Contabo lists fixed commissions for qualifying first orders from new customers. Examples shown on the page as surfaced October 8, 2026, are €20 for Cloud VPS 4 and €30 for Cloud VPS 6. Publishers apply through CJ and are manually reviewed; the page describes paid-order and 30-day non-cancellation conditions, monthly order review, and a 60-day wait before commissions are credited to the CJ account. Current network terms and approval apply, and only an assigned tracking link should be used.

Separately, Contabo says customers may resell VPS and dedicated-server products without a special agreement, but it has no general reseller program and cannot offer individual discounts on monthly fees. Reselling therefore does not provide a coupon or a special customer-rate substitute.
