Qué permite compartir Amazon Family en EE. UU.
Amazon Family permite que un miembro Prime comparta beneficios seleccionados con otro adulto del hogar. No convierte todas las ventajas de Prime en beneficios comunes ni sustituye una membresía propia para cada adulto adicional.
- Un miembro Prime puede compartir beneficios seleccionados con un adulto adicional.
- También puede haber hasta cuatro inicios de sesión Teen incorporados antes del 7 de abril de 2025 y hasta cuatro perfiles infantiles.
- Los adultos adicionales más allá de ese adulto compartido necesitan su propia membresía Prime.
Entre los beneficios que Amazon enumera para compartir están el envío rápido y gratuito en artículos elegibles, eventos y ofertas exclusivas, Prime Video con anuncios, Prime Reading, ciertos beneficios de terceros, contenido digital y, para un adulto, Amazon Music Prime sin anuncios en modo aleatorio. Para compartir beneficios, el miembro que invita y la otra persona deben vivir en la misma dirección residencial principal. Amazon describe esta dirección como el hogar donde consideran que viven y pasan la mayor parte del tiempo.

Cómo añadir a otro adulto
- Abre Amazon Family y selecciona Add Adult (Añadir adulto).
- Elige una modalidad: introduce el nombre y el correo electrónico de la otra persona para enviar una invitación, o completen el registro juntos en el mismo dispositivo.
- Si envías la invitación por correo, la otra persona debe aceptarla dentro de 14 días.
Ambos adultos usan cuentas Amazon propias; no compartan una sola cuenta para configurar el hogar. Amazon lo indica en su guía de cómo añadir un adulto a Amazon Family.
Cómo controlar el contenido compartido
Durante la configuración, Amazon te pide revisar las opciones de Family Library. Desmarca los tipos de contenido que no quieras compartir; puedes dejar todas las casillas sin marcar y activar opciones más adelante. Amazon indica que los ajustes pueden revisarse y modificarse después. No des por hecho que compartir beneficios de Prime implica compartir automáticamente todo el contenido comprado.

Compartir títulos de Kindle Unlimited
Para prestar títulos de Kindle Unlimited, abre Share Your Kindle Content desde la pantalla de inicio de la aplicación Kindle, elige a un miembro, selecciona los libros y pulsa Share Items. También puedes activar el uso compartido predeterminado de compras futuras y títulos de Kindle Unlimited. Solo el titular principal de Kindle Unlimited puede iniciar préstamos. Amazon describe este proceso en su ayuda sobre cómo compartir contenido Kindle; el flujo citado se realiza en la aplicación y no establece que haga falta comprar un lector Kindle.
Qué cambió para las cuentas Teen
Amazon dejó de aceptar nuevas altas para Teen el 7 de abril de 2025. Las cuentas Teen existentes pueden continuar hasta que el adolescente cumpla 18 años. Tienen restricciones: entre otros límites, no pueden compartir Prime Music ni contenido de Prime Video de pago o suscripciones de video compradas. Consulta la información de Amazon sobre cuentas Teen antes de depender de una función concreta.

Salir de Amazon Family o cambiar de hogar
Un miembro puede salir de su Amazon Family y volver a incorporarse a esa misma familia. Para unirse a una Amazon Family diferente, debe esperar 12 meses. Considera ese plazo antes de abandonar el hogar si piensas incorporarte a otro.
Amazon Family reemplazó Prime Invitee
Amazon está reemplazando el programa Prime Invitee. El uso compartido de beneficios Prime mediante Prime Invitee terminó el 1 de octubre de 2025. Quienes eran invitados perdieron el beneficio compartido de envío Prime; podían pedir al miembro Prime que los añadiera a Amazon Family o contratar su propia membresía. La fecha corresponde al cambio comunicado por Amazon para EE. UU.
