CoComelon is expected to arrive on Disney+ in 2027, with every season, according to a May 25, 2025 report by the Los Angeles Times. The report, citing unnamed people familiar with the agreement, said Disney+ had secured exclusive streaming rights; Moonbug declined to comment. The reviewed official materials do not confirm the deal, and they do not establish an exact launch date, regional availability, or when the series might leave Netflix.
What is reported about CoComelon on Disney+?
The Los Angeles Times reported on May 25, 2025 that Disney+ would carry every season of CoComelon beginning in 2027, under an exclusive paid-streaming rights deal. The paper attributed the details to unnamed sources familiar with the agreement and reported that Moonbug declined to comment. The deal had not been announced at the time.
That makes 2027 a reported target, not a confirmed Disney+ launch date. The reviewed official Moonbug and Netflix materials establish the franchise’s background and Netflix history, but do not independently confirm the reported Disney+ agreement.
When will CoComelon be on Disney+?
The report names 2027 but gives no specific day or month. It also does not establish the countries or regions where the series will be available. Disney+ has not confirmed those details in the sources reviewed, so viewers should not treat a particular launch date or worldwide rollout as settled.

Will CoComelon leave Netflix?
Netflix has a documented history with the franchise: on July 13, 2021, Netflix and Moonbug announced a global slate of new CoComelon programming beginning in 2022, including three planned seasons of CoComelon Lane. Netflix’s current CoComelon listing describes the series as TV-Y and focused on music and early learning, and displays a 2026 title year. That live listing does not establish a future rights schedule.
The Disney+ report points to a change in streaming destination in 2027, but does not state when or where Netflix availability would end. It also does not clarify whether related spin-offs are part of the reported deal. The report specifically describes every season of the CoComelon series; it does not establish that every program connected to the wider franchise will move.

Will CoComelon still be on YouTube?
The Los Angeles Times report says Moonbug will continue posting CoComelon videos on YouTube. That continuing video presence is separate from the reported paid streaming rights deal. Moonbug’s May 14, 2026 announcement describes the franchise as available in more than 20 languages and reports more than 4 billion average monthly YouTube views; those are company-published figures, not independently audited counts.
Is the CoComelon movie part of the Disney+ deal?
No such connection is established by the sources reviewed. CoComelon: The Movie is a separate theatrical release scheduled for February 2027. The official film page says JJ and his friends are starting kindergarten and JJ discovers his stuffed bear Boba is missing; it describes the feature as a musical adventure and says “Only in Theaters.”
