Cheeky Waffles’ Perth opening was reported for September 2023, and PerthNow reported on September 5 that the Northbridge shop had officially launched. The opening was at a William Street location; the reports document the launch, not whether the venue is operating today.
When did Cheeky Waffles open in Perth?
PerthNow reported on July 5, 2023, that Brisbane-based Cheeky Waffles had announced plans to arrive in Perth in September. On September 5, the outlet reported that the shop had officially launched. The September date in the original announcement therefore refers to 2023, not an upcoming opening.

The planned location was on William Street in Northbridge, according to PerthNow’s August 17 report. That article described the site as the shop’s Perth location; it does not confirm a current address or that the shop remains open.

What did Cheeky Waffles serve?
The Brisbane dessert shop was known for penis- and vulva-shaped waffles served with chocolate, fillings and toppings. PerthNow’s reports named menu items including OnlyFans, Sugar Daddy, Latin Lover and Catwoman. These are examples reported around the 2023 opening, not confirmation of a menu available now.

How did the owner describe the business?
PerthNow identified Amanda Machado as the owner and creative director. In its August 17 report, Machado said, “We’re more than just waffles,” and described the business as focused on community engagement and events aligned with its “cheeky cause.” That is her description of the business’s approach, rather than an independently measured community impact.
