What was the revised Chandigarh JBT exam schedule?
The Education Department, Chandigarh Administration, issued the revised notice on 4 March 2024 for Advertisement No. 06/2023. It set the written test for 28 April 2024, from 9:30 a.m. to 12 noon. The official revised schedule notice is the controlling source for these dates.
When were e-admit cards available?
Candidates could download their e-admit cards from 23 April 2024 at 11 a.m. until 26 April 2024 at 5 p.m., according to the Education Department’s revised notice. That download period is over; the notice does not establish that the link remains available now.
What happened after the written test?
The subsequent notice scheduled the answer key to be uploaded on 30 April 2024 at 11 a.m. Candidates could submit objections through 2 May 2024 at 2 p.m. The notice also stated: “It is reiterated here that simply appearing in the written test does not give any right to the candidate for appointment.”

How to distinguish this recruitment from later JBT notices
The 2024 dates belong to the Chandigarh Education Department recruitment under Advertisement No. 06/2023. The department’s recruitment page records later result, document-verification and appointment-related updates for that cycle. It also notes that an earlier notice inviting applications for 293 JBT posts was withdrawn on 16 January 2024; that withdrawn notice’s post count should not be treated as the count for Advertisement No. 06/2023.
Samagra Shiksha Chandigarh issued a separate JBT recruitment notice dated 5 September 2025. That cycle scheduled its written test for 5 October 2025, with e-admit-card downloads from 30 September 2025. Those dates do not revise or replace the April 2024 schedule.
